Po meni je njihov poslednji zaista dobar album "Clone", a "Extinct Instinct" mi je omiljeni, zato shto mi se stilski najvishe svidja, a verovatno i delom zato shto je to jedan od prvih prog albuma koji sam chuo (odmah posle "Images And Words" od Dream-a). Posted October 12, 2004 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 (edited) Ubjedljivo najbolji engleski prog band Nisam slusao novi.Imam samo Clone i Critical mass.Ovaj drugi je bolji.Ne oslanjaju se previse na slozene dionice vec vise paznje posvecuju melodijama.Osjeca se malo Dream Theater ali se ne moze reci da su plagijat.Najpotcjenjeniji prog band danasnjice,sto i dokazuje broj postova na temi.Moracu nabaviti novi album veruj mi da je novi album fantastičan.. ljudima baš ne ponestaje ideja....naprotiv! ps extinct instinct najbrze dosadi,a clone bas prija u dugom vremenskom periodu... ErliK Posted June 1, 2005 Report post Posted June 1, 2005 Uh meni je Threshold bio dobar bend uvek. Prvo sam cuo Extinct... Jeste fenomenalan album ali sam i fan svakog njihovog drugog albuma. U svakom sam uzivao od pocetka do kraja i nikad me nisu smorili. Mada definitivno nisu za slushanje za svaki dan i za svako psihicko raspolozenje. Razlog mog javljanj na ovoj temi je shto sam tek sad nabavio Replica album i opet se odushevio svim onim starim stvarima u novom ruhu. P.S. Samo, nije mi jasno shto neki (po nekim recenzijama) isticu njih kao jedini prog bend iz Engleski kada je meni Balance of Power za respect takodje ali. Bas imaju osecaja da naprave refrene koji se odmah pamte, a melodije me cesto podsecaju na Pink Floyd! Cini mi se da momci jednostavno ne umeju da naprave losu produkciju, sve se kristalno cisto cuje, mozda i previse cisto... Sto se tice Balance of Power-a oni su mi dosta slabiji od Threshold-a, mada imaju dobrih pesama ali strasno je iritirajuci vestacki zvuk bubnjeva na njihovim albumima. "Surface to Stage" was recorded at Z7 in Pratteln, Switzerland during THRESHOLD's "Subsurface" tour in 2004 and it marks the first time that the band have released such epic tracks as "The Art of Reason", "Into The Light" and "Echoes Of Life" in a live format. The album will be sold direct to the fans through the THRESHOLD web site, www.thresh.net, in the same way as the "Replica" album was released in 2004. THRESHOLD will perform at the U.K.'s first-ever ProgPower UK festival on March 25, building on the success of the festival franchise in the U.S. and central Europe. Ja sam se isto zestoko nalozio na Threshold posto sam prvo odgledao DVD "Critical Energy", da bih nakon toga krenuo u nabavku svih albuma, i nemam rijeci kojima bih opisao koliko su fantasticni. Postali su jedan od mojih omiljenih bendova. Tekstovi koji vas nagone na razmisljanje, izuzetno pametno napisani i to vecinom od strane Richard West-a, klavijaturiste, a o samoj muzici je nepotrebno govoriti, vec joj se treba maksimalno posvetiti i ona ce u vama probuditi neka lijepa osjecanja, makar je to kod mene slucaj.
