Grupa Virvel je sa zvukom počela da ekperimentiše 1999. godine. Članovi benda su prethodno sticali iskustvo u više beogradskih sastava, da bi vrhunac kreativnosti dostigli upravo pod nazivom Virvel.

Virvel mnogi karakterišu kao post-rock ili space-rock u nedostatku pravog termina koji bi mogao da opiše njihov jedinstveni muzički izraz. Ipak, rečima ih je teško opisati. Članovi benda ne robuju trendovima niti podilaze većinskom muzičkom ukusu. Njihov zvuk svako doživljava na svoj način. Virvel je pravac za sebe, a specifičnu atmosferu koju stvaraju prepoznali su i podržali mnogi i van granica Srbije. Tako je bend prethodnih godina imao zapažene nastupe širom Bivše Jugoslavije, od kojih se posebno izdvajaju svirke u Ljubljani, Mariboru, Zagrebu i Skoplju.

Idaho was a rock band formed in 1992 in Los Angeles, California, founded as a duo by high school friends Jeff Martin and John K. Berry. The two had played in various bands and projects together since 1981.They were eventually signed to Caroline Records in December 1992 by Brian Long, then released the The Palms EP and Year After Year full-length in 1993. Martin and Berry switched off on drumming duties and shared in the songwriting. Idaho drew frequent comparisons to American Music Club, Red House Painters and Codeine due to vocal, lyrical, and instrumental similarities. Idaho toured the U.S. with similar-minded artists like Red House Painters, Half String, Low, and Cranes in 1993-1995.

Ko ih jos nije cuo neka ispravi gresku i proba neki od ovih albuma ili neka krene redom, nece pogresiti.

Sve u svemu kao veliki obozavalac obskujrnih psihodelicnih pesama iz 70ih i 80ih, Ivo je resio da uzme ljude iz ovih grupa i napravi jednu supergrupu koja ce obradjivati na svoj nacin pesme i tako plasirati publici da malo otkriju tog zvuka. Nazalost TMC nije postigao neki veliki uspeh pa su i oni postali dosta obskjurni, tako da nisu posluzili svojoj svrsi. Ali ono sto je nama ostalo su tri stvarno savrsena albuma, koja su veoma inspirativna ali ponajvise dosta edukativna i lepo daje omaz jednoj zaboravljenoj muzici tog perioda. Slusajuci ove albume stvarno sam mnogo otkrio o nekim grupama o kojim nisam ni slutio da cu otkriti, a koji stvarno iza sebe imaju dosta magije i neverovatnih pesama. Ali po mom misljenju, svaka TMC pesma je bolja od originala.

Meni je omiljeni njihov prvi album It will End in Tears, mada sam vremenom zavoleo sva tri. I jos jedna stvar, kada sam prvi put cuo TMC nije mi se nesto dopao... nemam pojma zasto, ali vremenom su mi tolko prirasli da sada svaka pesma mi je odlicna. I tako sa svakim albumom, kada sam ga prvi put poslusao, jednostavno morate da pustite da sazreju sa svakim slusanjem.

Nestvarno dobra muzika!

Ja sam ih provalio preko Friday Night Lights serije, za koju su radili soundtrack (tj. ubaceo je mnooogo njihovih pesama).

Ne znam koliko ste upuceni, ali sviraju samo instrumentale. I to ne izivljavanje neko na gitarama i prekomerno soliranje, vec jako prijatne i lepe melodije. I Spoooore.

Imaju 4 albuma, sve bolji od boljeg!
