Imamovic razbio!

Christian%20Prommers%20DrumLesson.jpg

Munich’s Christian Prommer has risen to prominence as a producer and DJ whilst working as a member of Fauna Flash, Truby Trio and Voom:Voom alongside Peter Kruder. For this latest endeavour, Prommer has rounded up a troupe of jazz musicians to tackle acoustic versions of techno classics. Some of you may have already come across these guys tackling a cover of Derrick May’s Detroit classic ‘Strings Of Life’, and as that recording suggested, there’s more mileage in this project than the slightly daft concept suggests.

Other tracks include an unexpectedly successful reading of Kraftwerk’s ‘Trans Europe Express’, Isolee’s ‘Beau Mot Plage’ and tracks by techno icons like Mr Fingers and Patrick Pulsinger. Prommer and his fellow musicians do an especially admirable job of tackling Josh Wink’s ‘Higher State Of Consciousness’. Given that the narrative of the original was pretty much exclusively based around filter modulations, these guys do a pretty stand-up job of converting the piece in to some form of minimal chamber jazz. You’ll notice the ominous ‘Vol.1’ tacked onto the end of the title, suggesting there’s more to come from this frankly rather bizarre project, but after this first, improbably appealing instalment you might just find yourself getting excited about the prospect of a second volume.

Guest Grom i kakao

znaci bend je neko ime and the five elements, da li neko mozda zna sta pricam i ako zna nek me informise.

Steve Coleman and Five Elements.

Steve Coleman - cela diskografija free!

Kaze:

Many people have asked me what are my reasons for giving away music for free. Well, why not? Why should everything always cost something? For me music is organized sound that can be used as sonic symbols to communicate ideas. Since my main goal is the communication of these ideas to the people, then why not provide this music for free and thereby facilitating the distribution of this music to the people. However the distribution of music in this way is not in the best interest of commercial music companies, i.e. record companies, music distributors, retail stores etc.

My reasons for providing free music comes from my belief that musical ideas should not be owned by anyone. I believe that ideas should be free for anyone to use (but not to necessarily sell to others or make others pay for the use of these ideas). The concept of a commons area where ideas can be used for the benefit of all but for the profit of no one may seem like an unrealizable concept in the world today. Basically greed runs the world today and it is because of this that the concept of ownership exits.

Kakav baja, a?

Rispekt.

The Rain jebe, Our Love is Easy je nesto poput Love Me Like a River Does sa proslog, a slusanje obicno prekinem posle My One and Only Thrill - ne vredi dalje :icon_ne: BTW, bio chat sa Melody pre koju nedelju... saznao sam da voli The Roots(Philly komsije) i da je full gola snimala taj spot :D

Kad rece dark jazz, podseti me: http://www.myspace.com/tkde

Sarah_Vaughan_1951.jpg

Sarah Lois Vaughan (nicknamed "Sassy" and "The Divine One") (March 27, 1924 – April 3, 1990) was an American jazz singer, described by Scott Yanow as having "one of the most wondrous voices of the 20th century". She had a contralto vocal range.

Sarah Vaughan was a Grammy Award winner. The National Endowment for the Arts bestowed upon her its highest honor in jazz, the NEA Jazz Masters Award in 1989.

Although Vaughan is usually considered a "Jazz Singer," she avoided classifying herself as such. Indeed, her approach to her "Jazz" work and her commercial "Pop" material was not radically different. Vaughan stuck throughout her career to the jazz-infused style of music that she came of age with, only rarely dabbling in rock-era styles that usually did not suit her unique vocal talents. Vaughan discussed the label in an 1982 interview for Down Beat:

"I don't know why people call me a jazz singer, though I guess people associate me with jazz because I was raised in it, from way back. I'm not putting jazz down, but I'm not a jazz singer. Betty Bebop (Carter) is a jazz singer, because that's all she does. I've even been called a blues singer. I've recorded all kinds of music, but (to them) I'm either a jazz singer or a blues singer. I can't sing a blues - just a right-out blues - but I can put the blues in whatever I sing. I might sing 'Send In the Clowns' and I might stick a little bluesy part in it, or any song. What I want to do, music-wise, is all kinds of music that I like, and I like all kinds of music."
