Goxy Posted June 9, 2006 Report post Posted June 9, 2006 Naravno da je otisao u kurac cim pravi ovakve albume kao Monotheist.A ranije je poprilicno pljuvao sve sto je snimio Hellhammer,pa mu posle doslo iz dupeta u glavu da prizna da ju to ipak bio bitan period njegove karijere,bitan za celtic frost kao i za gomile bendova koje su dolazile. Here is an explanation of recent developments. At around 7pm on June 3rd, Tom was admitted to a hospital in Gelsenkirchen as his kidneys were causing him a great deal of pain. After several check-ups he was diagnosed with a kidney stone that was about to rupture. Tom's pain was so strong that only several large doses of morphine gave him any relief. Accordingly he was unable to perform at the Rock Hard Festival that very evening. Martin, Franco and especially Tom are extremely unhappy with the way things turned out and would like to apologise to all their fans who waited in vain for their set. Celtic Frost were looking forward to their first gig in 15 years and were determined to present a great show. Unfortunately, on this occasion it was not to be. Celtic Frost would like to thank all the other bands who entered the stage on the spur of the moment to make this a memorable evening for these fans. They would also like to thank the Rock Hard team, all their fans and Dr. Dielenschneider, the best doctor in the whole of Gelsenkirchen. Tom Gabriel Fischer has been transferred to a Zurich hospital and is undergoing a kidney operation as this press release is being typed. Instead of an easier-to-handle but more time-consuming method, he has decided to have this operation as he wants to be able to perform again as soon as possible. He is adamant that he will perform at Sweden Rock this coming weekend and also fulfill all other forthcoming festival dates. Гласник смрти Posted June 29, 2006 Report post Posted June 29, 2006 June 26, 2006 - CELTIC FROST NEWS UPDATE After Celtic Frost's highly regretted cancellation of the group's June 3, 2006, headliner appearance at the Rock Hard festival in Germany due to the emergency hospitalization of singer Tom Gabriel Fischer with an acute renal colic that same day, the band returned to form by playing a triumphant 90 minute headliner show on the Sweden Stage at the prestigious Sweden Rock festival on June 10, 2006, a mere three days after Tom had undergone emergency surgery back in his hometown of Zurich, Switzerland. The reactions to the Sweden Rock performance - as well as to the preceding warm-up concerts - have been exceptional. To quote Martin Carlsson from his review of the festival in the Swedish newspaper Expressen, "it was the best gig in the whole history of the festival". Celtic Frost and, in particular, Tom Gabriel Fischer would like to express their deepest appreciation for what has been literally a flood of written and verbal "get well" wishes regarding Tom's health and recovery. The support and compassion expressed during the past few weeks by fans, fellow musicians, and individuals from the music industry has been overwhelming and has touched everybody in the Celtic Frost camp deeply. Tom will undergo a further brief surgical procedure in the course of July, but he has been recovering well, as evidenced by Celtic Frost's recent live shows. Tom Gabriel Fischer: "I am stunned, humbled, and very grateful about all the personal messages received". The band are now continuing their scheduled festival appearances across Europe, having just performed on the "Hard N'Heavy Stage" at the Hellfest festival in Nantes, France. Due to the festival's policy, even as a co-headliner Celtic Frost were only able to play a 45 minute set, and the group is looking forward to the opportunity of playing the full 90 minute plus set for Celtic Frost's French fans when properly touring Europe in early 2007. Celtic Frost's next concerts will take place on June 30, 2006, at the With Full Force festival in Leipzig, Germany, and on July 2, 2006, at the Tuska Festival in Helsinki, Finland. The original pressing of the vinyl version of Celtic Frost's new album "Monotheist" has sold out in record time. Century Media are thus shortly producing a further pressing of the vinyl double album, which will be distinguished from the first edition by containing picture discs with the images of the band's members, as featured in the artwork to "Monotheist". darthmoog Posted October 20, 2006 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 da a sto se tice monotheista...9.4/10...mnogo mi se svidja album slusam ga skoro svaki dan od kada je izasao...navikao sam na cesto menjanje zvuka pa nisam ni ocekivao vanity ili therion...svaka pesma na njemu mi je extra sem poslednje tri koje cine trilogiju...te su potpuno ocajne i mnogo dosadne po mom misljenju ...zato album ne dobija 10/10 ali ostatak albuma je extra...
