Mušterije, koje bi po pravilu trebale biti odlični poznavaoci automobila, birali su automobile najružnijeg dizajna svih vremena. U anketi je učestvovalo 2500 Hagerty mušterija, a rezultati se pretežno odnose na automobile koji su bili ili su još uvek dostupni na američkom tržištu. Naš Yugo se visoko plasirao i zadobio čak drugo mesto na listi najružnijih automobila, odmah iza AMC Pacer-a.
