Nordic Vision je bio proglasio Battles in the North za "metal album godine", pa ti vidi. Naravno, sa tim nisam mogao da se slozim, ali je zato Pure Holocaust sigurno black metal album 1993. godine! Kad se pojavio ''Sons'', bio sa ushićen, kad sam ga preslušao, i posle video i onaj skrnavni bonus dvd, smorio sam se skroz. ''One by One'' razbija, ostalo onako... Ipak ''Pure Holocaust'' je za mene, bio i ostao album koji je definisao Norveški black metal. Brz, mračan, dijaboličan, sa totalno hladnom produkcijom...fenomenalno izdanje.
