    So it is done finally. Today, after seven years of silence we have finished the work for our new album "Old Mornings Dawn". The master tape is on its way to Napalm Records. As soon as they fix a release date (which is probably in may), the one minute teaser will be on-line on their homepage. We think this will happen during the next days.

    The new CD will consist on 7 songs and one intro. Here is the track list of the forthcoming Album.

    1. Evernight

    2. Flammifer

    3. Old Mornings Dawn

    4. The white Tower

    5. Caradhras

    6. Of pale white Morns and darkened Eves

    7. The wandering Fire

    8. Earthshine

    We also have finished two bonus tracks called "The Darkening of Valinor" and "With Fire and Sword". These tracks will be on the limited CD version and on the LP version. The first track was originally supposed to be the intro of the album, but later was reworked into a instrumental track; similar to those on "Lost Tales". The second one is the missing song from the "Oathbound" session; just a little bit reworked.

    We have finished all vocals and choirs for the new album. This means that we slowly come to an end now. Until the end of the month we have to finalize the sound, the booklet and the two bonus songs. This time we also have an English speaker who contributed with some spoken words for two songs. At the end of this month give the master CD to napalm records and fix the release-date which probably will be in march or April.

    Ako moze pomoc imaju dva filma koja jurim:

    1. Upitanju je policajka gde su joj ubijeni svi ljudi sa kojima je ona spavala, i neko pokusava da joj podmetne zlocine, a ona se niceg ne seca jer su je drogirali. Na kraju se ispostavi da joj je sef ubijao te ljude i da je ako se dobro secam ubio i njenog caleta koji je bio policajac.

     

    2. E sad drugog se dosta slabije secam, ali evo kako je islo. Policajac u gradu gde bukvalno nema zakona, vladaju bande. Ono cega se dobro secam je da je tu bila neka devojka odlicnog izgleda koja je igrala prostituku i ona mu pomaze. Bila je obucena u belo, nosila je beli perjani sal ili tako nesto, ima dosta vremena da je bio na pinku meni se cini bar jedno 7 - 8 godina.

It’s a mesmerising blend of the orchestral - majestic and at times ethereal - with beautiful vocal arrangements and our unique 'feedback' lead guitars, all centred around a grand piano and a huge rhythm section. All the layers work together to convey the haunting internal landscapes Anathema have become renowned for.

    This is an album which we hope will excite old and new Anathema fans equally. A fresh musical and lyrical approach has transformed songs such as Crestfallen, Kingdom and Sunset Of Age. This record reveals how, even from the very start, the band wrote melodies which would always have a universal magic and emotional impact.

    Another highlight of the album, Everwake, features the incredible voice of Anneke van Giersbergen and has brought a higher dimension to one of the band’s earliest and simplest acoustic pieces.

    The record has been produced by Daniel Cavanagh and was recorded and mixed by Andrea Wright at the legendary Parr St Studios, Liverpool (where the likes of Elbow, Coldplay and Echo and the Bunnymen have also recorded albums). The orchestral arrangements are from Dave Stewart who worked so successfully with Anathema on We’re Here Because We’re Here.

    Falling Deeper, in the words of Daniel Cavanagh, is:

    ‘’a nod to our past and a look to our future all at the same time, with a sound that is designed to transport you to the heart of the present moment.’’
