  1. Album je bas po mom ukusu. Jedino mozda malo monoton u pojedinim trenucima.
Nuke them all i tako to!
  5. During Soviet times, among the metal fans have been incredibly popular vinyl LPs of the Yugoslav production. They cost much cheaper than branded originals, but they were very high quality. Such plates were walking on the hands a lot, but they were exclusively licensed reissue of popular western team, but Yugoslav teams play metal, I personally do not remember. Although the plate with the Polish, Czech, and even metal commands from the GDR in our stores appear a lot. So what happened during the dawn of metal in Yugoslavia, I know absolutely nothing. Only now, when instead of Yugoslavia on the world map there have been several small independent states, groups from the region slowly started to gain universal acclaim. Serbian speed metal SPACE EATER great proshumeli in metallic get-together, issuing their albums, the first in Sweden and one in the U.S. and here are their compatriots - thrashers POLLUTION representing his deyutny album by the Mexican office of EBM (Endless Brutality Of Men) Records. POLLUTION were formed in 2007 with the sole purpose - to play a cool treshak. The first demo, the team went on sale in August 2008 and was called "Our Way". Soon the group had their eye Terror Blast Prod. from Macedonia, republish it on the demo CD-R (edition of 500 copies) split with another young team thrash cerbskoy DEADLY MOSH. They are also responsible for the release of the mini-album POLLUTION "Massive Overload" (May 2009). And, behold, a full (11 songs in 38 minutes) album Serbs «Modern Warfare" published in the series "Thrsh Is Back", as I mentioned earlier, Mexican EBM. Musically, the Serbs gave an excellent, very fast thrash U.S. bay area schools. To the extent rifovany and moderately sweet with vocals reminiscent of Paul Belofa (RIP) from EXODUS. I can not but note the very high quality recording and just "killer" quality of the edition with colorful glossy booklet. In recent years, the young team is not much joy to me, but here POLLUTION hooked in earnest. Such a fun and high quality straight from the tin trash long time since I did not buy. So what I recommend. Buy, listen and pleasant night wet dreams are guaranteed:). 10/10 POLLUTION – Modern Warfare CD EBM Records This Serbian band’s brand of Thrash is pure paint by the numbers early California Bay Area sound. If you wanna hear the release that early EXODUS could have made then here you go. This is their debut but it’s part of EBM’s “Thrash is Back” series which is a few years late for the revival. Maybe no one told the band about it. Be that as it may Modern Warfare has eleven decent tracks but nothing which really grabs hold of you in 2010. That’s not to say it’s a bad release on the contrary they are quite good at recreating the past and that’s part of the Thrash Revival appeal. Maybe with this release some people will toss these guys into the “retro thrash” can and forget about em. I’m optimistic like I was with the all the bands from the Thrash Revival’s first wave. Who knows, they might come out with a killer sophomore effort. I hate to say it but I kinda like this more than the last EXODUS release. Pollution - Modern Warfare Pollution's debut album is as unsurprising as it gets. Modern Warfare is firmly middle-of-the-road thrash metal in all aspects - the speed is adequate, most riffs are satisfactory in a functional sense, and the lyrics deal with some of the most typical topics in the genre. After all this, it should not come without warning that the result is nearly indistinguishable from a load of other albums of the same kind. It is not even necessary to give any special mention to the very appropriate production as pretty much every band can have the same nowadays. The presentation is fairly good and all, and there are no distracting features that would actually hamper the listening experience. It's just that the outcome does not stand out in any notable way. Pollution - Modern Warfare It seems that EBM Records is in the middle of something call Thrash is Back series. This is their 2nd release for that. It's in essence exactly what the title says it is, thrash bands. Every band released in it is a new revival band rehashing the 80s. This band LOVES Exodus. The vocals at times are almost exact. The music, as with almost every single thrash rehash band out today, is nothing you haven't heard before. It's well played, but by the end of the album I'd just rather listen to the bands they're emulating. That's my biggest problem with majority of these rehash bands, they seem to pick certain bands to be influenced by and they're all but blatant in ripping off their sounds. It's one thing to love the classic thrash sound of the 80s, but try taking influence from it and updating it a bit. All this sounds like is something average that was forgotten about in the 80s, but I'm sure that's exactly what they're going for; in that sense they're a success. 4/5
  6. Ko voli "Post Mortem" trebao bi da odigra "Still Life", radili su isti ljudi i delimicno nastavlja pricu..

14. 1. Hail from Sofia, mate! Have a nice cold beer adn Introduce Pollution - where did you started, whats the current line-up and the concepr behind the band, are you still a 4-piece... Hey, mate! Cheers to all your readers, from Belgrade city! The Pollution story started about four years ago. My long time friend Pippy (guitar) and I decided to form a band which will play the music we love. We were having all kinds of changes in the line-up all the time, and us two are the only remaining members from the beginning. We have finally filled the spot of the second guitar player, so now we’re a five-piece. The current line-up is: Bane – vocals, Pippy – lead guitar, Vanja – rhythm guitar, Frenky – bass, Lole – drums. 2. Productionwise, are you happy with your new album? Where was it recorded and what was the response over the maniacs around the globe? We had an excellent producer working on our album (Luka Matković/Space Eater), but, in general, we are not satisfied with the production. Recording in a fast pace and no time for mixing at all contributed to this. We recorded in Draft studio (The Stone, May Result, Infest) and in Luka Matković’s studio. We mostly had good reactions from listeners and critics. Everything will be done a lot better on our second album. 3. Are you satisifed with your work with EBM Recs. They are pretty big underground label...releasing bands like Adrenicide, Prayers of Sanity and some Hirax stuff. We’re more than satisfied, it couldn’t have been better for our debut album! We had really great communication with EMB’s leading man, both sides did their job accordingly. 4. the "Our Way" was rereleased as a split with Deadly Mosh under the flag of TerrorBlast. Is it still available with the EP? Phew, I’m not really sure what’s happening with copies of that split CD. I was surprised when you contacted me about that material, I didn’t think it was still circulating through the metal underground, haha! 5. Looking at the lyrics, its seems like you are a band, that is not "for" or "against" and just singing about topics like war, violence, nuclear waste and shit! Thats cool...who is writing the lyrics and what inspires you? True, we had no strict theme for the album, I wrote about anything that crossed my mind and that interested me in the given moment. I turn on the TV, switch to National Geographic, see a show on manic depression and I write Manic Depression, switch to the news, see an article on priests torturing treated junkies in Crna Rijeka and I write Black River. It’s how it works for me when it comes to writing lyrics. 6. Whats in for the near future...new albums, new concerts? It’s gonna be a very busy winter! Material for our second album is almost ready, we’re planning to hit the studio and rehearse, and then some heavy recording awaits us. And, as for the concerts… Now, I can only say that we’ll probably play a show in Sofia this winter, we’re still negotiating, but we’re sincerely hoping we’ll be playing in your country! 7. Seems like Thrash is back and kikcing fullforce in Serbia! Do you feel satisfied with the scene over there with newcomers like you, Nadimac, Space Eater, Deadly Mosh, Toxic Trace, Infest and co? How's the scene in Belgrade, overall? Concerts? Clubs? Etc. Serbian thrash really exploded in 2007/2008. Dozens of bands were formed, some playing their own songs, some playing covers. It’s all coming to it’s place now, many of those bands disbanded quickly, and few of us formed our own sound, and signed for strong underground labels. Concerts are always there, the clubs aren’t as much, we can manage, as everyone. 8. Also, Serbia had great thrash bands in the past! Do you feel like successors of HELLER, AMNESIA, BLOODBATH, ANNATHEMA, RAPIDFORCE, MORTUARY and such? I personally am a HUGE Heller fan and I think today’s thrash scene is the successor to the scene from those days. I believe that the legends from those bands are glad when they see that kids today value the same things they once did. 9. Name us your 5 favorite metal albums for all times. Exodus - Bonded By Blood Vio-lence - Eternal Nightmare Megadeth - Rust in Piece Sodom - Agent Orange Dark Angel - Darkness Descends 10. Wich band or artist you want to see hanging from a tree? hehe... Hahaha, those would mostly be all these newly formed genres of music (metalcore, deathcore, screamo and stupid things like that). Time will destroy them. Mainstream changes all the time, the underground is forever! Those genres have no predispositions for the underground, the people can recognize quality. 11. Zvezda or Partizan. Recommand us some good Belgrade beer! PARTIZAN ALL THE WAY!!! And, as for the beer, I prefer Jelen beer, but Lav is also okay. It depends on your taste. 12. Are there gonna be t-shirts, and where poor bastards like me can find your stuff? Our label promised us a certain amount of T-shirts, if we receive them before our scheduled concert in Sofia, you’ll be able to buy them there. 13. Thanks, dude! It was nice hearing form ya...hope to see you in Sofia one day. Any last words? Thank you, for your support and this interview. I hope we’ll see each other in Sofia this winter to have a couple of beers together and throw a quality party. Thrash ‘till death!
