The band was formed on 2nd of February 2006.Spitback became something we are all very dedicated to, something that makes a significant part of our lives. Our music is influenced by many bends of different stiles (Tool, Deftones, Catharsis, Crowbar, Radiohead…), all that put into something you can call metal-core (if you think of a better definition of our style, please, let us know!). My understanding of music and the way the rest of the bend look at it has created our identity, something we would like to be recognized by- dark and aggressive music. We don’t care in which way our music will be understood, as long as people like it and look at it as something more than pure noise with no sense. A good word about our music is the best compliment we can get. The lyrics make a very important part of our songs. They make them complete and contribute to the atmosphere we tend to create by playing our music. Our lyrics speak mostly about human mind because, for me, that represents a microcosm full of unclear thoughts; something that influences us and many things around us, but is yet also influenced by many things from outside… love, hatred, wisdom, stupidity, happiness, sorrow… all the things that make our lives the way they are.
