Sony Music are re-releasing the colossal Draconian Times through their Grammy-award winning Legacy series; which will feature the entire digitally re-mastered album including a 5.1 Dolby Surround mix in a brand-new collector’s edition digi-pak box-set, so fans can hear the album like never before! Along with this release the band will be performing their monumental album Draconian Times live at a series of 7 exclusive gigs in the following select cities around Europe: Tilberg, Bochum, London, Paris, Athens, and Thessaloniki. Due to the unique and exciting nature of these events we will be issuing a small, limited number of VIP packages at all seven concerts. The bands front man Nick Holmes had this to say: “It’s going to be amazing to play the Draconian Times shows again, DT was a huge success for the band; it seemed to be exactly the right album to do at the right time and to a certain degree was definitely the end of a chapter for the band.We always considered the album to be a ‘better’ version of its predecessor "Icon" and using Simon Effemy again for the third time, I think we were all on the same hymn sheet and knew exactly what we wanted and what the album should sound like. We had done a pretty extensive touring schedule for the Icon album before it, and there was already a decent buzz around about the band, In the 1990s without the Internet you could only really gauge how things were going once you walked onto the stage and saw how the crowd responded to songs! But after the DT album was released the response was phenomenal. Slicna situacija kao sa Sin/Pecado od Moonspell, koji svi mrze uglavnom zato sto ga nikad nisu ni odslusali kako treba, a u pitanju je remek djelo. Slicna situacija kao sa Sin/Pecado od Moonspell, koji svi mrze uglavnom zato sto ga nikad nisu ni odslusali kako treba, a u pitanju je remek djelo. Sve potpisujem, s tim što sam Host svario i obožavao odmah po izlasku a za Sin mi je trebalo malo vremena. I da napomenem da bi mi bilo jako drago da ti bendovi opet urade nešto slično. Slicna situacija kao sa Sin/Pecado od Moonspell, koji svi mrze uglavnom zato sto ga nikad nisu ni odslusali kako treba, a u pitanju je remek djelo. Descender Posted February 2, 2011 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) Meni je obrnuto, za Host mi je trebalo najmanje jedno 6 mjeseci, ali kad je kliknuo... Savrsenstvo! I mislim da je nakon In Requiem i posljednjeg albuma vrijeme da Paradise Lost ponovo urade nesto radikalno eksperimentalno, ne bih volio jos jedan slican album mada je rijec o odlicnim izdanjima, ali vrijeme je (opet) za neku promjenu! A sto se tice Moonspell, tesko da se Sin/Pecado moze ponoviti... Onakve pjesme i onakva atmosfera dogode se veoma rijetko (velikoj vecini bendova nikad) i tesko ih je ponoviti. Al dobro, tako i nastaju remek djela. Edit: upadose dva posta, odgovarao sam Grobodanu. Masivan, dubok, mračan, dug... i u svoj toj njegovoj gustini ga baš i volim. Bilo bi mi kul da opet ubace u muziku nešto na taj "Host" fazon ili barem malo "Believe In Nothing"/"Symbol Of Life" osećaja. Nećemo preterivati Btw rekoh ti par puta već, ti definitivno treba da Sin provrtiš. Ja obozavam Sin/Pecado, odmah mi je posle Wolfhearta i Irreligious, cak sva tri imam na kasetama :rockdevil:kult! Ako su originalne kupujem. Meni je obrnuto, za Host mi je trebalo najmanje jedno 6 mjeseci, ali kad je kliknuo... Savrsenstvo! Meni je odmah legao, tad sam bio totalno izolovan od sveta i nisam ni znao kakve su kritike, a Host mi bio logičan nastavak na One second. Symbol je fenomenalan album, dok mi je BiN mozda i najmanje dobar PL, sa njega su mi omiljene I am Nothing i World Pretending i b-strana "Gone". Da, i "Mouth" volim, ali zivu verziju, npr. sa "Anatomy". Ostatak albuma je ok, ali nekako uglavnom ispod njihovih standarda. Za sljedeci album bi mi najvise legla neka kombinacija Host/One Second/Paradise Lost + neki eksperiment preko svega toga. Ovde si postavio savrsenu komparaciju.Nekako mi karijere oba benda imaju slican put.Bar sto se tice zvuka koji su vremenom menjali.Cak su im i intervali slicni.Po meni,PL nemaju los album.Istina sa BIN je takva da je po malo tuzna.Naravno,ima jako dobrih stvari kao sto su I am nothing,Illumination,Divided i Mouth ali,veci deo albuma je radjen na silu zbog nekih ugovora,sto su i sami potvrdili.Host je,kao sto si rekao,remek delo.U tom albumu lezi sva njihova kreativnost.Moc metamorfoze je izrazena kroz svaki ton.I to je dokaz njihovog kvaliteta. A sto se tice Moonspell i njihovog Sin albuma...Ni tu se nema puno sta reci.Od prve do poslednje.Kako su samo vesto pobegli od klisea i sablona.Bas kao i PL. Pogledaj samo kako masa na koncertima reaguje na Abysmo i slicne stvari. Volim i Butterfly...Stvari kao sto su Tired ili Soulsick i Disappear here me cine sretnim sto sam ziv i u ovom vremenu. Gde je tu jedan Shades of God, Icon, Draconian Times, One Secund, kapiram ja mladje naraštaje ali stara škola PL-a se mora respektovati. To je Biblija, šta tu ima više da se priča.
