In early 2011, I was facing two options: one was to announce a break, and the other option was to quit the band. I definitely needed time away from it all, and having a break wasn't reassuring enough to know if I would be able to recharge the batteries for another go. Oddly enough it was at the funeral of the man who discovered us in the first place that I came to realize the story wasn't finished yet. So here we go again. Don't think you will be able to see us playing every club for weekends on end. We will only play a small selection of shows and this won't happen before 2015. Besides that, the core of the band will consist of only Michiel and myself. We'll have some cool guest musicians lined up, though, to make sure we'll give you the best performance possible. Last but not least, our first shows will be where we played our last ones three years ago. Our rebirth will happen at 70,000 Tons of Metal 2015. Ancient Rites has been working hard on the pre-production of a brand new album. The band will enter the German SPACELAB studios in October which is their steady haven since the "Fatherland" album. One can expect a combination of fierce Metal combined with filmic orchestration and a lyrical journey into long forgotten worlds true to Ancient Rites style. Limits will be pushed. The flat of Oleg Mitasov, a mentally ill man from Kharkov, Ukraine. He died in 1999. Oleg Mitasov was an educated man, a Master of economics. The rumor is that his illness developed after he had left the manuscript of his PhD thesis behind in a streetcar, thus never becoming a PhD. Mitasov covered all his flat and furniture in creepy inscriptions. Some of them are legible, some are just a set of letters. “Mitasov” and “VAK” (ВАК, the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles, where he was supposed to bring his manuscript) are common words he wrote. After his and his mother’s death the flat was sold. They say it’s been renovated and there’s an office there now.
što da nije oni su promenili ime zato što je nastala neka nazi grupacija u Švedskoj koja je furala ime Wolfpack pa su zato oni promenili svoje u Wolfbrigade, da ne bi bili dovođeni u vezu sa ovima, dakle bend je kao bend uvek ostao u istom tripu, da ne misliš da je bilo tu i nekih stilskih zaokreta
