Ja ne pamtim da me je neki album ovoliko raspametio u poslednje vreme, koliko The Destroyers of All, naravno govoreći o death metal albumima (ne računam poslednji Immolation, jerbo su na dve različite strane). Naime, u više od 50 minuta svirke za bend sličnog usmerenja, prvo što bi mi palo na pamet bilo bi "ovi će da udave", ali su ovi uspeli da razbiju bilo kakvu predrasudu tog tipa i napravili odličan album. Ni postoji sekund na albumu kome bih mogao da nađem zamerku. Pretenciozno ili ne, jedan od top albuma godine. Ćao će.

The Melvins will release a live album, entitled Sugar Daddy Live, this May. The Melvins’ latest offering is a thirteen-track live recording, recorded at The Busta-Guts Club in Downey, California. The disc will hit the streets on May 31st via Ipecac Recording. The band are currently in New Zealand with a forthcoming round of Australian dates as part of the Soundwave Festival. The Melvins were in Christchurch when the earthquake struck but escaped unscathed and are due to resume their tour later this week.

Iconoclast Japanese trio Boris have released the first single from Attention Please — one of TWO all-new full length Boris albums to be released on the same day via Sargent House this spring. The song, Hope premiered today via Pitchfork and is available HERE. The track showcases new aspects of the distinctly different sides to the legendary band’s personality that can be heard between the pair of albums, Attention Please and the all new Heavy Rocks (not to be confused with the 2002 album of the same name). A track from Heavy Rocks is expected to debut soon.
