Finnish doom/death metallers SHAPE OF DESPAIR have issued the following update: "Just before this year, SHAPE OF DESPAIR and [ex-AMORPHIS/current AJATTARA singer] Pasi Koskinen parted ways. We got very few close persons in mind who could fit inside the band's chemistry and share the same passion for our music. "Welcome our newest member, Henri Koivula. "Henri is known from his other band THROES OF DAWN which released magnificent 'The Great Fleet Of Echoes' album last year."

REDEMPTION, the U.S. progressive metal band featuring in its ranks legendary FATES WARNING vocalist Ray Alder and guitarist/songwriter Nick van Dyk, has completed work on its new album, "This Mortal Coil", with producer Neil Kernon, who has previously worked with such acts as NEVERMORE, NILE, QUEENSRŸCHE and DEICIDE. The CD will feature the following working songtitles, among others: "Noonday Devil", "No Tickets To The Funeral", "Rain In My Soul", "Focus", "Dreams From The Pit", "Path Of The Tornado", "Blink Of An Eye", "Perfect" and "Departure Of The Pale Horse". Commented Nick: "I'm pleased to announce that after what can only be described as a very challenging production experience that threw every possible curveball at us, we have finished the record. Fortunately, Neil kept a steady hand at the tiller through rough waters but it really tested us all: computer failures, Internet failures, missing files, strange 'ghost-in-the-machine' type elements, scheduling challenges, lightning strikes (I'm not kidding), etc. At any rate, the masters are in the hands of the label. Meni je baš bilo do jaja kad vidiš ljude koji očigledno ne znaju za njih kako reaguju - u fazonu "What the...?". Cenim da su skupili novih fanova sinoć.

Ja sam se tad štekao za onaj famozni Watain i svi znamo šta je na kraju bilo.

Ako se dobro sećam: Dacia Hiperboreana, Pamint, Cunoasterea Tacuta, Hora Soarelui, Norilor, La Marginea Lumii. Moguće da sam zaboravio nešto, uglavnom kratko ali slatko beše. Strašno su navežbani i imali su sjajan zvuk, imajući u vidu da ih je u bendu šestoro sa tri vokala i milion onih folk čuda, od one dugačke duvaljke preko kojekakvih bubnjeva i drvenih daski do frula i panovih flauta, neviđenu su atmosferu napravili. Klavijaturistkinja je šećer, onaj lik što peva i svira folk instrumente je kralj. I da, konačno smo svi saznali da se pravilno čita "Negura Bundžet".

Bad Religion carevi, milion godina imaju i skroz su vedri i vidiš koliko uživaju u tome što rade. Gledao još House Of Pain, Neguru i štošta sa strane. Neverica kako je Ritam Nereda napunio Explosive do kraja.

Savršen koncert sinoć. Jebeno savršen.

Aman prestani više, tema ostaje na Rock-u i šlus.

Legendary Philadelphia death metal battalion GOREAPHOBIA has forces with Dark Descent Records for the release of the band's long-anticipated new full-length album, "Apocalyptic Necromancy".
