Ovo ne bi bilo loše videti. Kad sam ih slušao 2014te u Zagrebu, tad je bila turneja vezano za self-titled album plus 20 godina od "Awake" i 15 godina od "Scenes from a Memory" pa je bilo par pesama sa svakog od ta dva albuma. Svirali su "The Shattered Fortress", "On the Backs of Angels" i "Trial of Tears" van self-titled i ova dva. Sad bi mogla biti dosta šarenija lista. Da li je Zagreb ili Budimpešta bolje mesto za videti bend?

Jeste album standardni zvuk Sonate. Možda to ima i veze sa našim godinama, pošto ih slušamo od ranih radova pa sad kad smo matoriji više ne kapiramo novi materijal čak i ako je možda i ok. Ja sam negde od Nemam neki veliki hejt prema njemu, ima lepih trenutaka. Ja bih samo kao najbolju pesmu odabrao poslednju, imam utisak da je po kreativnosti najviše pokazala, pogotovo taj neki početni deo koji mi je dosta sinematičan. "The Days of Grays" je verovatno bio poslednji album kada me je materijal ozbiljnije dotakao, tada sam imao dvadeset, sad skoro trideset i pet. Mislim da ima i do toga. Ovo sve posle, možda tu i tamo ponešto ali slabo. A i jeste, negde je otišao taj zarazni, energični vajb, počele su sve neke mekše, eksperimantalnije pesme koje imaju respekt za pokušaj nečeg drugačijeg ali nažalost nije ubolo žicu

Osim ako ne bude neki guest appearance, Kevina nikada ne bi vratili u bend (a ne verujem ni da bi hteli). Pre nekih desetak godina, Portnoy je u intervjuu rekao da ne svira više na Moore-ovim solo albumima jer je u fazonu, ili se radi kako ja hoću ili nikako. Kevin je isuviše jaka individua, a i Džordan je davno postao neodvojiv deo benda, tačno im odgovara po ličnosti i svirci.
