WINTERSUN, the band led by former ENSIFERUM singer Jari Mäenpää, have posted the following message on their official web site: "We entered the studios [on May 2]. The day went setting up the drums, changing the drumheads, miking the drums, making the basic drumsound and Kai playing too fast all day long (and driving Nino crazy). Jiiiihhaaaaa! [On May 3] we [started] the actual recordings. "In this studio session we will be recording only the drums, rhythm guitars and bass. I [Jari] will continue recording the vocals, solos and synths/samples at my home 'studio'/rehearsal place during the summer. The melody/acoustic guitars I will be recording with Teemu. The mixing will take place in autumn and the release is scheduled for the end of this year. "The album will be called 'Time' and the track titles are: 01. Sons of Winter and Stars 02. Land of Snow and Sorrow 03. Time 04. Fire 05. One with the Shadows 06. Storm 07. Silver Leaves "Seven epic songs and quite long ones, over 65 minutes of material. It's a theme album. Sad sam otisao na Dissection forum i naravno,svi hvale album,te klasik,te ovo te ono...A ja nigde ne videh da mu je neko dao vise od 6/10. Inace,fino rade na promociji,evo sta su sad smislili Dissection Midsummer Massacre '06! Dissection will perform one big exclusive concert in Europe! Stres je najznacajniji faktor rizika za cir na zelucu,a ako ja nisam bio bar za 50% blizi ciru posle prvog slusanja Reinkaosa,nisam nista uradio!Citao sam brdo recenzija za album,ali NISTA me nije moglo adekvatno pripremiti...Intro je jos i kul,krene Beyond the Horizon,ja ocekujem da konacno krene krljanje u starom stilu,bar malo...i prodje album. Dissection je postao melodicni death.Dobro.Nemam nista protiv.Ali,recimo svaki album Northera sere po Reinkaosu,a ako je Dissection na to spao... Promena zvuka - Jon je najavljivao album koji ce "otvoriti crne rupe u svemiru"...mogu samo da se nasmejem.Zasto su oni odbacili onakav stil,ono bogatstvo melodija,onu atmosferu sa prva 2 albuma gde je svaka pesma vodila u svoj svet za ovaj uprosceni melodeath?I zasto svaki bend protura uproscavanje i usporavanje za "progresiju"?Kad smo vec kod toge,seca li se neko jednog dobrog benda koji je 80-ih svirao vrh metal...onda su pod istom zvakom izdali nekoliko albuma koji se zovu Crni,Load i Reload? Ovo radjeno 11 godina?Svaka cast svakom,ali cenim da za ovo ne treba vise od 6 meseci. Mada ajde,kad pokusam stvarno da zaboravim sta su svirali nekad,ovo i ne zazvuci toliko lose,problem je samo sto takvi trenuci ne mogu da mi traju duze od 10 sekundi.Ako bih u potpunosti hteo da zaboravim na stari stil,onda bih morao da izvrsim lobotomiju.Jel mi verujete da se meni skoro svaki dan u glavi vrti Unhallowed? Textovi su dosta zli,vidi se da se na tome radili,zna se koliko to Jonu znaci.Ima OK pesma - Beyond the Horizon,God of Forbidden Light...ali pesme nekako...nemaju energiju,jebiga.I to je ono sto jebe.Nema udarca nikakvog.Za muziku moze u najboljem slucaju da se kaze da je OK,a kad sam za Dissection to docekao... Ocena za standarde Dissectiona 2/10 za melodeath standarde 7/10(na misice) Ukupno 5/10. Fear the Return?Izgleda da su jedino fanovi trebali da se plase...

Veoma dobar album,ali nije bas za svrsavanje,jos od IX Equilibriuma ne mogu nikako da budem potpuno objektivan sa ovim covekom zbog prva 2 Emperora.Lepo je covek spojio sva svoja interesovanja u jedan album - agresivnije Emperor deonice i simfonicni/klasicni uticaj Thou shalt suffer i Peccatum.Najbolje pesme mi Invocation i The Pain is still mine.Mada,sigurno cu ovom albumu dati jos dosta sansi iz pijeteta koji osecam prema Ishtvanu,mada ovo nije bas moja soljica krvi.
