Jebem te, ja sam ti pre vise od godinu dana preporucivao taj kult. Bilo, nego sta, ja stavljao. Pisao ja i recku: Upon the first glance on Tribulation’s debut promo CD, I knew I was into something cool. Front cover is looking ghastly sick but in the same time totally appealing to old school head like yours truly (trivia – artwork on the back is in strikingly similar vein as Watain’s last album, I dunno if mr Eric has got something to do with it...). And when I looked at the promo sheet and found out that guitarist Adam also plays in Enforcer, who blew me the fuck away with their „Into the Night“, I was hooked without even listening to goddamn thing! Thankfully, „The Horror“ totally delivers the goods in most important, musical department. Maybe some of you connect Tribulation’s homeland Sweden to In Flames and such, but my first association is the ever flowing stream of darkened evil Metal. From Bathory to Dismember, Entombed, Dissection, Marduk, The Crown, Necrophobic, Nifelheim, all the way to new starwaltz such as Watain, Kaamos and Repugnant, the bands from Sweden simply knew how to entangle their art in malevolent aura of left hand path. Well, you may as well put this band in that category! Strong words? Just one listen to „The Horror“ and you will happily agree with me, while possessedly banging your ugly head. This album can be described as Death Metal but that mentioned brooding evil atmosphere, getting them „black“ tag. Hints of furious Thrash are more than noticeable and when the guys decide to rip, memories of early Slayer and Dark Angel will spring right before your eyes. One more noticeable thing is that the arrangements are very rich, with a lots of twists and turns to keep things interesting so you will have to listen this a couple of times so that everything can sink properly in your head. Maybe you wil find few misplaced / less intensive riffs here and there but overall result is bangers-approved without a doubt (did I say that this stuff is very headbangable? Must be the guys’ old school inbred...). Production is delightfully raw and just adds a bonus to Tribulation’s already very pissed off style of playing. Verdict – „The Horror“ is one hell of a debut, it shows a band as a very potent and promising unit and we can surely expect more good things from them in the future. Tribulation is certainly the most promising new act of old school DM madness, along with Dead Congregation and Darkcreed.

Rekoh vec, najveca legenda, kreator svih onih melodija. Pola koncerta sam gledao samo u njega, kako se unosi i uziva u svirci. Ala me boli vrat od propeler headbanga na pocetak The ones that came before svaka cast na pominjanju jos jedne legende. Elem, meni ovaj PL bio bolji nego prosli put, ne neuporedivo ali za nijansu, valjda zato sto je setlista bila bolja za nijansu I jes' se cekalo, i ja sam psovao sve po spisku, ali dve vrhunske svirke potiru to.

Znaš kakav je tek kad se otvori, knjižica je mnogo lepa.

Dobra je setlista bila, culi smo neke koje nismo prosli put, a bubanj mi ne fali. Takav je njihov sinteticki hladan zvuk i lezi im to. Black Hole je sahranila, mada ti nisi uzivao sa mnom u wall of soundu Dark Funerala, tako da... Prokleti Engleski cinicni drkos Najveci kralj cele veceri
