E,upravo da se ne bismo kako kazes "cimali",uporno apelujem na one ljude koji se bave organizacijom koncerata,da konacno metal koncerti kod nas postanu svakodnevnica,kao sto je sve vise slucaj u Madjarskoj,a u zadnje vrijeme cak i u Sloveniji.Drago mi je sto ih ima u tim zemljama,ali ih zato hocu i kod nas.

Destruction have finished recording their new studio album, titled "Metal Discharge" and they are now preparing a video clip for the song "Desecrators (Of The New Age)". The album is scheduled for a September 22nd release through Nuclear Blast.

FALCONER COMPLETES WORK ON NEW ALBUM 05 Aug 2003 16:38:31 Topic: Band news / Source: Blabbermouth Sweden's FALCONER have finished the recordings for their third album, "The Sceptre Of Deception", due on October 6 through Metal Blade Records. Says mainman Stefan Weinerhall, "This album is a concept album about greed, falseness and megalomania in the 1300s in Sweden. It is based upon a true story. Actually, a concept album to me is always a bit hard to listen to and sort of strange with all those short 'who cares songs' between the real ones. This one is not like that, but is a normal FALCONER album with some more variations and unexpected turns. "Well, the fact that we've changed the singer makes it not 100% a 'normal' FALCONER album. I can promise a lot of guest appearances and that alone makes the album more varied. "We are so very satisfied with the album since the last year has brought so many new things to the band like more members, live gigs and the feeling of 'a real band.' I have never been more pleased in all my years of recording. It came out the way it was supposed to be! And now for the big news, it's Tim Owens on vocals and he did an amazing job! I know there were a lot of people hoping that this would be the case, and it is. I've asked Neil to put a sample of 3 of the songs for you guys to check out. SPV agreed to letting me do this as long as I did not put the whole song up. I hope you enjoy them, I know I do. I'll be in touch soon with more news and details of the release dates for the single which will be called "The Reckoning" and the full length CD "The Glorious Burden." 10/06/2003:"Former Death touring guitarist and current Millenium axeman Ralph Santolla has joined ICED EARTH as a replacement for Larry Tarnowski, who left the group earlier in the year in order to continue his studies".

Na albumu"Iced Earth" je pjevac bio Gene Adams,na "Night Of The Stormrider" John Greely,a na ostalim naravno Matthew Barlow.

Jon Schaffer je napisao skoro sve pjesme,a otpjevao je samo par njih,i to kao backing vocal.Inace,sada ce imati puno posla,jer mu predstoji snimanje albuma,koje ce zapoceti tek kada pronadje novog gitaristu(otisao Larry Tarnowsky) i pjevaca,a to ce biti tesko,i ako se on sa slicnim problemima susretao od nastanka benda.Samo se sjetite koliko je gitarista i pjevaca proslo kroz ICED EARTH.

Tacno,i "Chaos A.D."je dobar album,mada sam vec po njemu osjetio da ce bend krenuti nekim novim-pogresnim pravcem,sto je i potvrdjeno izlaskom albuma "Roots".Dakle,za sve koji ne znaju,ako hocete da cujete pravu SEPULTURA-u,onda slusajte njihove albume koje su snimili zakljucno sa "Arise".

Lose je to sto je ICED EARTH i metal uopste izgubio ovakvom njegovom odlukom sjajnog pjevaca.No,mozda se on ipak jednog dana vrati poslu koji sam siguran najbolje radi,a to je pjevanje.

Bas sam sinoc slusao album "Beneath The Remains",i moram ti reci da si potpuno u krivu.To je album koji predstavlja samu esenciju thrash metala.Ako i malo volis thrash metal,onda ti se ovaj album mora dopasti.Ne znam da li si slusao i njihove albume "Schizophrenia" i "Arise".Ako nisi,onda ih odmah nabavljaj!

Kakav mu je to opravdan razlog za napustanje benda,i to u sred procesa snimanja albuma.Po meni je to nekorektno.Mislim da ce Jon dati sve od sebe da dovede nekog kvalitetnog pjevaca,ali tesko da ce uspjeti u potpunosti da nadomjesti gubitak odlaskom Matthew Barlow-a.

Vocalist Matt Barlow has announced his departure from ICED EARTH in order to pursue a career doing administrative work for the Department of Homeland Security. The following is Barlow's official statement on the matter: "In December of last year, prior to ICED EARTH signing a new record deal, [iCED EARTH mainman] Jon [schaffer] and I had a sit-down concerning what I felt was best for my future and the future of ICED EARTH. I told him that my heart was no longer into performing music and I intended to stand down from my position in the band in pursuit of what I felt would be a more satisfying career and consequently a more fulfilled life. Jon was very adamant that I should not leave the band, and asked me not to do something that I might live to regret. I was compelled to stay with it, but as it turns out my course had remained altered. "For you to understand my position on this matter, I feel I must explain myself. As for many people, in and outside of the United States, the events of September 11, 2001 had a profound impact. For me personally, it shined a new light on life. It forced me to realize how precious and how short life is. I feel very fortunate to have been a part of something that has affected so many throughout the world, but I believe that what I am striving for will also reflect positively on those I come in contact with. "I am presently going to school in order to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. When I have received my degree, I intend to follow with a career in law enforcement administration. "I realize that it may be difficult for some of you to understand the decision that has been made, but please believe that it has been made to preserve the integrity of ICED EARTH. I know that there will be people who bad-mouth the band and me for this and that there will never be a good enough explanation. For those people, I feel pity that they must live through others and I hope that someday they will find themselves in another place. I have been on a great ride with all of you and I have not a single regret. There are great things to come from ICED EARTH and we will all be there to witness them. I wish Jon and the guys well and I thank you in advance for your support and understanding.
