American metal bands PHARAOH (the Pennsylvania-based heavy metal band featuring vocalist Tim Aymar, formerly of CONTROL DENIED) and CANVAS SOLARIS have begun work on a unique split 7" release planned for early 2007. Each band will contribute its version of a song by the legendary Swiss progressive thrash band CORONER. CANVAS SOLARIS, an instrumental band itself, will offer its version of the the CORONER instrumental "Arc-Lite", while PHARAOH will contribute in the form of "Tunnel of Pain". This will be the first vinyl release for both PHARAOH and CANVAS SOLARIS. A label is expected to be confirmed shortly.

American heavy metal band PHARAOH has completed the mixing of its third album, entitled "Be Gone". Like its critically-acclaimed predecessor, "The Longest Night", the new album was recorded with Matt Crooks at MCR Studios in Manassas, Virginia. "Be Gone" will now be mastered by Colin Davis of Imperial Mastering for a worldwide March release via the leading traditional heavy metal label Cruz del Sur Music.

As a special treat for fans (and, it must be said, for the band themselves) the track "Dark New Life" features guest guitar solos from Mark Reale and Mike Flyntz from RIOT. Jim Dofka also appears for the third time on as many PHARAOH albums, contributing his extraordinary guitar chops to the song "No Remains".

 

A release date, song samples, and cover art for "Be Gone" will be revealed in the coming weeks.

 

PHARAOH will celebrate the new album and its ten-year history by performing live for the first time ever (!!) at Keep It True X on April 5, 2008, at Tauberfrankenhalle, Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. The festival is completely sold out as of September.

Da, da famozni SOEL II, i taj ko iz igrice da izashao, ali je bre jebachki cover! Lep za oko. Ovaj, ni blizu.

Овај изгледа као да се залажу за очување амазонске прашуме... што би било ОК, али то није метал омот.

Zashto je bre ovako opalo interesovanje za ovaj bend?

 

Ovih dana sam sve u pripremi za Legasi festa, ali stigam i neshto novo da odslusham.. "Idi begaj" kol'ko sam stigao da degustiram, svidja mi se, ali bre osim fantastichne "Buried At Sea"(ne znam da li je to zbog imena pesme, ali pesma stvarno ima neki metalchurchni vajb..), nijedna druga mi neshto ne ulazi u glavu..
