MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has issued the following update:

 

"10 songs done for the new CRÜE album so far, I'm very proud of the songs. I think we're onto some of the better songs weve had in years... Time will tell, of course. A couple of song titles on the CRÜE album are called 'A Scar On Hollywood Blvd' and 'The Saints Of Los Angeles'. As it's been leaked out before, this is no suprise... but the album is called 'The Dirt' and lyrically follows the story of the MÖTLEY CRÜE bestseller 'The Dirt'.

 

"It's challenging and exciting to have to write the songs into time capsules spreading over years... I've written a lot of songs with Mick Mars [guitar], of course, along with James Micheal, Marti Frederiksen and DJ Ashba... The chemistry in the studio as we're writing is unbelievable. I look forward to leaking some to you all in the next few months...

 

"I haven't gotten anything tattooed in years except 'Tag Here' on my toe.... I think it's time to step it up, I'm feeling the itch. Kat's [von D] gonna do one probably this weekend. I've been wanting to get 'Los Angeles' tattooed on me for ages, and then the other day I noticed Kat has it on her left shoulder. We both have had so much happen in our lives in this city, why not make it permanent? The band started it here, I've died here, had kids, married and divorced here.... my life is in 'Los Angeles'...

    To ima u knjizi The Dirt kad je dozivjeo klinicku smrt. Onda se probudio i pobjegao iz bolnice bez da su doktori primjetili, uzeo je neki taxi da ga vozi kuci. U medjuvremenu je procurila vijest da je umro i to je javljeno i na radiju koji je on slusao u taxiju.

    Kad je dosao kuci snimio je na telefonskoj sekretarici "I can´t answer right now ´cause I´m dead".

    Ja sam u nekoj knjizi o Motley Crue (mislim da se zove "Crewed,Screwed And Tattooed" - tako nesto) procitao kako je kako je on upao u klinicku smrt (od overdose-a),a da je Slash bio taj koji ga je prakticno spasao - naleteo je ne njega jos dok je ovaj bilo kol'ko-tol'ko ziv i odmah pozvao hitnu pomoc da dodju po njega (pa je tako zavrsio u bolnici) :da:

    Ne sjecam se svih detalja ali se sjecam da je nakon bolnice, kada je dosao kuci i stavio tu poruku, otisao u WC i opet se overdosirao :) i da je krv pljustala po zidovima. Mozda je tada naisao Slash a i mozda i prvi put, ne mogu se sjetiti.

    Dude, znas ti koliko bi ljudi doslo na MC? Vise od 2000 sigurno. Sve ljude koje znam a da slusaju rock slusaju MC. Samo iz Zemuna bi ih doslo gomilu

    Pa sad...znas,jedno je pricati "ej,SAMO KAD BI taj-i-taj bend dosao isao bih SIGURNO",a drugo je kad taj bend i dodje (kod nas) pa se onda ispostavi da poal tih sto bi "sigurno" dosli ne mogu da dodju... :rolleyes:

     

    Ne znam koliko bi ljudi bilo...

     

     

    To je jedan od 4 benda koji moram da vidim.Definitivno.Valjda ce biti prilike.
