Hello Oceansouls.The day has come and we are finally kicking off our first-ever contest, with the help of sponsors such as Sonic Cathedral and Century Media.The premise of the contest is self-explanatory: "Show us Your Nightwish!" That's right, if you have a Nightwish collection that you think is hot stuff, we want to see it! Do you have 10 different versions of every Nightwish CD, or perhaps more Nightwish t-shirts than you have space in your closet?Is your love for Nightwish so intense that you had to immortalize it forever in a special tattoo, or show it to the world constantly on your license plate whenever you are driving? We want to see all of these things! If you think you've got what it takes to win the grand prize, then do as the contest implies and "Show us Your Nightwish!"The rules are simple: You must be a resident of North America to enter the contest. This means not only the United States, but Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Central America as well. Only one submission per username can enter the contest; if you try to "double-enter" the contest, your second post will be locked. You must also show us a picture of your collection; you cannot just make a list of all the things you have. If you have trouble submitting your pictures or do not know how to host them online, send them as an attachment to: [email protected] and our webmaster will host them for you. Also, the pictures you are sending must be in good taste. In other words, if you have a tattoo of Tarja on your ass, please be so kind as to zoom in close enough to get only thepicture, not the entire ass! There is no age limit on how old you must be to enter the contest, which is why we ask that all submissions must be tasteful and respectful of all members, including minors who may want to enter the contest.The contest works like this: As of September 1st, a separate forum will officially be opened so that hopefuls may submit their entries. For the first three weeks, it is fair game, everyone can send in their entries. At the last week of September, however, a poll topic will be opened to narrow it down to 10 finalists. A post will be made at the forum to let everyone know when new entries will no longer be accepted. Members of the forum and the OSA council will all vote to choose who is worthy enough to move on to the final ten. Once it gets down to the final ten, you will be contacted so we may have information such as your shipping address, so that the prizes may be sent to you. However, once the final ten have been chosen, it will be the OSA council who ultimately decides who wins the grand prize. And no, council members are not qualified to enter the contest! So if you are a member of the OSA council, hands off the grand prize!
