It will be the band`s first for Nuclear Blast since their departure ten years ago - and it`s a comeback worth waiting for! Entitled "Cynic paradise", Tägtgren`s latest opus features eleven gems offering a vast variety of styles and influences which are even new for PAIN. Western slide guitars, anyone? Naime, službeno je potvrđeno da će Nightwish nastupiti 2. aprila 2009. u dvorani Dražen Petrović, 2, u okviru svoje svetske turneje Dark passion world tour kojom promovisu svoj poslednji i posebno uspešan album iz 2007. godine - Dark passion play! Kad je Tuomas Huolopainen, spiritus movens grupe, 1996. godine otišao na kampovanje s nekoliko prijatelja, verovatno nije ni slutio da će ideja koja mu se tada ukazala – prerasti u bend sa svetskom slavom i milionima obožavatelja – NIGHTWISH. Nightwish je osnovan 1996., a tadašnji članovi benda bili su Tarja Turunen (vokal), Emppu Vuorinen (gitara) i već spomenuti Tuomas Holopainen (klavijature). Melodično i lepo ime bend je dobio prema jednoj od tri akustične pesme koje su u to doba snimili: Nightwish, The Forever Moments i Etiäinen. Sledeće godine pridružio im se Jukka Nevalainen (bubnjevi) s obzirom da su hteli malo žešći zvuk, a zbog istog su razloga i akustičnu gitaru zamenili električnom. Godine 1998. grupi se pridružuje Holopainenov prijatelj, basist Sami Vänskä. Kad je Nightwish nedugo zatim nastupio u legendarnoj rock dvorani Lepakko u Helsinkiju (Finska), verovatno ni publika u Lepakku još nije naslućivala da se pred njom nalazi nešto što će uskoro prerasti u najpoznatiju finsku muzičku grupu koja nastupa na gigantskim turnejama i koja širom sveta ima milione poklonika. Do današnjeg dana, Nightwish albumi prodani su u šestocifrenim tiražima, a spotove poput onog za pesmu Amaranth na youtube videlo je gotovo 16 miliona ljudi. Nakon mnogo kontroverzi oko otpuštanja prve pevačice Tarje Turunen i dolaska nove pevačice Anette Olzon, grupa nastupa u sledećem sastavu: • Tuomas Lauri Johannes Holopainen - Klavijature • Erno "Emppu" Vuorinen - Gitara • Marco Hietala - Bass, Vokal • Jukka "Julius" Nevalainen - Bubnjevi • Anette Olzon - Vokal Pre nego što na stage stupi Nightwish, atmosferu će „zagrejati“ dve posebno hvaljene grupe koje u Hrvatskoj svakim danom imaju sve više obožavatelja a to su švedska grupa PAIN i finska INDICA. Svi oni koji su imali priliku poslušati tu odličnu kombinaciju Nightwisha, Paina i Indice 4. ožujka 2008. u Ljubljani, znaju da je bilo odlično, a skromno smatramo da će 2. aprila 2009. u Zagrebu biti - veličanstveno. VoivodBG Posted September 22, 2008 Report post Posted September 22, 2008 Sa Hypocrisy-em se naizdavao albuma da komotno moze da napravi dugacku pauzu, vidis da mu je Pain trenutno zanimljiviji od maticnog benda i da zeli covek da se pokaze u drugacijim muzickim vodama. Elem, tek sam sada video naziv novog albuma Cynic Paradise, po zvucnosti imena obecava, e sada da li ce biti kao Psalms ili pak eksperimentalniji (daj Boze!) videcemo kada procuri na netu.
