Jedini re-recordovi koji su mi legli jesu Moonspell i Dimmu, zato što su inicijalno imali katastrofalnu produkciju i skrnavu svirku što se apsolutno potire sa njihovim umetničkim intencijama, a presnimavanja su dovela do toga da te radove slušam ravnopravno sa ostalim njihovim. Sa druge strane, prva 3 albuma Amorphisa nemaju falinki tog tipa. Zašto bi neko kog đavola ponovo radio pesme sa Elegy? Talvi Posted July 29, 2010 Report post Posted July 29, 2010 Pazi, tu vec stizemo do pojedinacnog ukusa, tj. razloga zasto ljudi slusaju muziku. Sta hocu da kazem: primera radi, ja licno obozavam "Drowned Maid", to mi je jedna od najjacih Amorphis pesama. Ali, ukoliko oni npr. sad snime i nju i ako OTKINU kako je urade - instrumentalno, vokalno, produkcijski... pa nema 'leba da cu tu verziju slusati redje od originalne jer, koliko god ja voleo tu kultnost prvog izdanja, meni je zvuk na prvom mestu. Kao kad bi ti neko ponudio tako dve verzije neke pesme bez ikakvog predznanja o tome koja je starija, kultnija ili sta ti ja znam... nego da ih jednostavno filtriras po kvalitetu svirke. "Drowned maid" '94 - iskomponovana, napisan lyrics, u studio, snimljeno najbolje što se moglo. "Drowned maid" '10 - "e sad imamo bolji studio i bolje sviramo malo, aj snimamo stare pesme" Meni je to lame. Znači, ako budu postojali 2025. opet će sve da snimaju jer je tehnologija uznapredovala? Esa je tu glavni i on je 100 puta govorio da nikako nije zadovoljan mnogim Amorphis snimcima, pa cak i celim albumima ("Far..."), tako da je njihovo pravo da sa svojim pesmama rade sta hoce, a sve u sluzbi toga da pesme zvuce sto je bolje moguce. Grobodan Posted August 12, 2010 Report post Posted August 12, 2010 On September 17, Finnish metallers AMORPHIS will celebrate their 20th anniversary by releasing a special retrospective, "Magic & Mayhem – Tales From The Early Years", featuring newly re-recorded versions of the songs from the band's first three albums (1992's "Karelian Isthmus", 1994's "Tales From The Thousand Lakes" and 1996's "Elegy") with slightly different arrangements, better audio quality and featuring the band's current lineup. AMORPHIS guitarist Esa Holopainen told Petri Silas of Finland's Soundi magazine in early June that he was especially happy with how "My Kantele" and "Song Of The Troubled One" turned out. The collection will also include such gems as "Vulgar Necrolatry" and the band's cover of THE DOORS' "Light My Fire". The latter song was previously recorded by the band and was included on the reissue of the "Tales from the Thousand Lakes" LP, but the new collection will feature a all-new version that was tracked in early 2010.
