Audrey - Visible Forms - 2006

 

 

The second release, Visible Forms, is released at Tendervision Recordings (Scraps of Tape, September Malevolence etc..) and have gotten superb reviews all over the country.

The four Audrey girls all contribute with their own voices together with the slow sound of violins and pianos. The sound is very scandinavian and weigh on a thin line between post-rock/melancholy-pop/shoegaze/slowcore, and one could easly associate their sound to Björk, Arab Strap and Sigur Rós.

Audrey will do a special show with extra musicians and guests from the album and Once We Were will open the show and play some tracks from their forthcoming album.

 

Scraps of Tape will record their new album in june! Mathias Oldén (Logh, Switchblade) will produce and look for a release in the fall. They are also heading out on their short tour in just a couple of days.

Yesterday Converge began tracking their next album for Epitaph Records. The group, with the guidance of guitarist Kurt Ballou, is engineering and producing the effort themselves. According to the band, "No need to bring anyone else in, not when we have the ability to collectively create the album we artistically envision."

 

The album will consist of roughly thirteen songs, of which the band states, "These songs are a freight train, to us sounding larger and harder than any of our previous efforts."

Robotic Empire Releasing Windmills By The Ocean LP

 

Robotic Empire will release the recently unearthed recording from Windmills By The Ocean. Featuring members of Isis, Red Sparowes, Anodyne, and 27, the album consists of "intense (mostly) instrumental stuff" and was recorded in 2003. The effort will see the light of day on August 8th in both CD and LP format.

imam ja dva albuma (our point of departure i new features), mada ne one koji reprezentuju ovo sto sam gore rekao .

ma bezveze sam naisao na ovo pa reko da pitam. sad procitah neke recenzije, i nije nista posebno, ima dosta toga sto bih radije slusao. a i ne mogu da skinem, dial-up.

him.aham.verdict of science je genijalnost.uopste sworn eyes bi trebalo chekirati.post-rock miles davis jazzijana i new third world ethnic shtasmos.sjajni su i rex ,( him su pre kao dub spinoff spomenutog),slow-koraski odsvirane post-sublimacije,sedativizirana psihedelija i late-night galaxie generacijske mantre,core je mr doug scharin,koji je svirao ritam-sekciju i u codeine i june of '44 da ne idem u detalje),preporuka je naravno i kentucky chicago thingy i cul de sac.ali prvo him.

This marks the group's tenth consecutive top 20 album, following the success of the band's two-disc best-of set "Rock of Ages: The Definitive Collection", which entered The Billboard 200 album chart at No. 10 in May 2005 with sales of about 66,000 copies.

 

"Yeah!" is said to be "a heartfelt and hard-rocking tribute" to DEF LEPPARD's musical heroes of the late '60s and '70s — THE KINKS, BADFINGER, T. REX, DAVID BOWIE, SWEET, ROXY MUSIC, MOTT THE HOOPLE, FREE, FACES, and THIN LIZZY.
