AFTER FOREVER Involved In Bus Accident: Photos Available

 

AFTER FOREVER's tour bus was involved in a accident in France Wednesday morning (Feb. 1) as the band were making their way from a gig in London, England to their next show in Lille, France. No injuries were reported and the band's European tour with NIGHTMARE will continue as scheduled. As previously reported, AFTER FOREVER performed a special gig with a wind orchestra, Orpheus, on December 22, 2005 at 013 in Tilburg, Netherlands. Photos from the concert can be viewed at this location.

 

AFTER FOREVER's fourth full-length album, "Remagine", is available now on Transmission Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Invisible Circles" was recorded at Excess studio in Rotterdam, Holland and was mixed by Sascha Paeth and Philip Colodetti at the Gate studio in Wolfsburg, Germany.

AFTER FOREVER Part Ways With 'Bad Loser' Label TRANSMISSION RECORDS

 

Dutch female-fronted metal band AFTER FOREVER have parted ways with longtime label Transmission Records. The group's official statement on the matter reads as follows:

 

"Today, record company Transmission send a press release in which several factual errors occur.

 

"Transmission reports that they are putting an end to the cooperation with AFTER FOREVER. This decision however, had earlier already been made by the band by not accepting Transmission's offers to extend the contract or to renew it.

 

"AFTER FOREVER found it was time for a cooperation with a new partner. Most important reasons for this decision are Transmission's approach to promotion and marketing, especially abroad. Also, in the last period of time, Transmission's support and involvement had been minimal. The recent European tour (January) made this clear to us once again with relation to press promotion and local supply of CDs. Also, the two-year-old pictures sent with this latest press release is evidence of no real involvement with the band.

 

"AFTER FOREVER will be playing at several festivals in Belgium, Luxemburg and The Netherlands. In the second half of this year, they will also tour through Latin America again, like they did in 2005. Next to several venues and clubs, the band will perform at three large festivals in Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Mexico City.

 

"For our fans, we think it is good to know that several large labels, both national and international, have shown interest in a cooperation with AFTER FOREVER. Therefore, we can only conclude that Transmission is a bad loser."

Jadnichci, vec godinama pokusavaju da ih napuste, a stvarno su ih jahali k'o mlade majmune! Najcrnje je bilo kad se Transmission nije cimao da snimi koncert AFa sa orkestrom, cak ni kao Live CD! Vazno im je samo da Epica izda pun kurac singlova i DVD-ja!

Dutch female-fronted symphonic metal outfit AFTER FOREVER have posted the following message on their official web site:

 

"Today, the contract with our former label, Transmission, has ended. After four full-length albums, one mini-album and a few singles, we think it's time to take a big step forward!

 

"The past years we've experienced an overwhelming worldwide support from the fans and this gave us the strength to carry on, despite some serious problems we've encountered. Our efforts and the efforts of the fans have brought us very interesting new opportunities for the future!

 

"Because of this positive situation, we decided to take all the time we need time to be able to choose the perfect opportunity for AFTER FOREVER and our fans!

 

"We'll keep you updated about that. Expect some very interesting news and site updates concerning AFTER FOREVER. Right now we're loaded with energy, ready to start with a new part of AFTER FOREVER!"

 

As previously reported, AFTER FOREVER's former record label, Transmission Records, recently announced plans to release a two-disc compilation album containing the best songs from the band's first ten years of existence, plus previously unreleased material, non-album tracks, alternate takes, rarities and previously unreleased remixed versions. Included you will find collaborations with such guest musicians as Sharon den Adel (WITHIN TEMPTATION), Arjen Lucassen and Damian Wilson (AYREON) and Marco Hietala (NIGHTWISH).

 

Entitled "Mea Culpa" (view artwork here), the double-album has been divided into two chapters. The first chapter covers the period with guitarist/composer/lyricist Mark Jansen (now in EPICA), while Chapter 2 contains songs which the group recorded after Jansen's departure; a period during which AFTER FOREVER masterfully spread their wings and proved themselves to be one of the most interesting and powerful female-fronted metal bands in the world.

Hahaha, ne mogu da prokužim kakve ima cokulice. Meni je ovo OK, ali ne za nju. Btw, čini mi se da je skinula par kg, a i da je promijenila bolju kose.

Odličan bend. Imam Prison of Desire, sve pesme su dobre.

Novi singl Energize me, izlazu u martu...snimili su pre par dana i spot.........
