Jbg. Aj' ovako: Pre svega, prvo sto upada u usi jeste koliko je album kompaktan, u smislu da sve pesme cine jednu savrsenu celinu. Nema bas onako direktnih hitova kao na "Theogoniji" ali su pesme toliko nabijene i ujednacene po atmosferi i kvalitetu da ih je milina slusati. One narikace imaju vrlo bitno mesto na albumu, pevaju u vise pesama i bas se pesme znaju vrteti oko njihovih vokala i gajdi, dipli i tako tih sranja. Dakle, folka vise nego ikad, atmosfera k'o na Olimpu pre 4000 godina. Btw, album i jeste sniman na Olimpu. Jedan od najinteresantnijih momenata albuma - definitivno Alan u "Thou Art Lord". Peva malo mirnijim, vise "gothic" glasom no sto smo navikli i neverovatno koliko pesma podseca na Paradise Lost!!! Cuces. Gitarski rad - Sakisov potpis 100%, znaci jednu notu kad cujes znas da su to oni. Obrada Diamande Galas je toliko bizarna i cudna da je to neverovatno, definitivno treba cuti pa shvatiti. Ovo je tek na drugo slusanje, ali ja vec sad vidim da je ovo album godine bez obzira na sve ostalo sto izadje (jos jedino da cujem Septic Flesh, i za njih znam da nema da omanu ). A sacekacemo jos da ga i ti dobijes pa da zajedno analiziramo malo dublje.

Auuuu bre. Znam da je Alan vec imao jedan Bathory tribute bend pre koju godinu u Irskoj, valjda je svirao bas i pevao, tako nesto...

THE MAN-EATING TREE, the new atmospheric metal band featuring former SENTENCED drummer Vesa Ranta alongside current/former members of POISONBLACK, REFLEXION and EMBRAZE, has set "Vine" as the title of its debut album, tentatively due in September 2010. The CD is being recorded at Mastervox Studio in Oulu, Finland with producer Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, SENTENCED, AMORPHIS). Hevibrunssi is part of the Finnish Metal Expo. According to the group's official bio, THE MAN-EATING TREE was formed when "Vesa Ranta, having taken a break from music after SENTENCED, began to overcome his post-SENTENCED battle fatigue and lack of musical motivation. The idea of a new band — or bands — was eventually brainstormed over a period of time between Vesa and his friends, including gentlemen Miika Tenkula, Aaron Rantonen, Janne Markus and Mikko Uusimaa. Plans were made reality in 2009; the outfit was completed by the addition of Tuomas Tuominen as a vocalist and Heidi Määttä as a keyboard player. First demo recordings were made in the spring and summer of 2009. "The bulk of compositions are the origin of Janne Markus, with some contribution also from Aaron Rantonen. Much of the lyrical input is contributed by Tuomas Tuominen. These are the building blocks of the music, which is finally arranged hands-on at the band house by the entire group." Muz i zena otisli na safari i napravili kamp u divljini. Jednog dana, muz ode u setnju i u povratku vidi gorilu kako izlazi iz satora, noseci u jednoj ruci njegovu zenu a u drugoj flasu viskija. Lik potpuno hladno izvadi pistolj iz futrole i kaze: "Baci flasu ili pucam.".

Nisam imao potrebe posto sam potpuno prirodno promenio sve moguce boje dlake. Kad sam se rodio i u naredne 3-4 godine bio sam plav, posle poceo da naglo tamnim, u nekoj 14, 15. godini bio zift crn i onda mi je kosa opet pocela da se posvetljuje do neke smedje varijante, kakva je i sad. Brada mi je prirodno polu-ridja a imam i sedih, tako da je ceo spektar tu.

I onda sledi krucijalno musko pitanje: pa sto se onda farbas uopste?

He added, "I think the first recording session we had on this album, I had a really good feeling, as usual, but I think it was something extra. I think this album is… It's not cool to say it's probably some of the best things we did, but I believe so. The songs are strong, and they have a good production, in our point of view. "We really don't belong in the modern scene; that's why we're kind of outsiders. In our hearts, we still belong to the underground, and that's where we're comfortable." Regarding the "Circle The Wagons" cover artwork, Nocturno Culto said, "It has an Indian theme, actually; I don't know if any band did that before. Dennis Dread is the American artist doing the front covers for the last three albums, including the new one. Mr. Necro, our kind of guy on the cover, he kind of has Indian things."
