Former SEPULTURA guitarist Jairo "Tormentor" Guedz has launched a new project called THE TROOPS OF DOOM. The band, which also includes acclaimed graphic artist Marcelo Vasco (PATRIA, MYSTERIIS) on guitar, Alex Kafer (ex-NECROMANCER, EXPLICIT HATE, ENTERRO) on vocals/bass and Alexandre Oliveira (TIANASTÁCIA, SOUTHERN BLACKLIST) on drums, recently signed a deal with Nuclear Blast's digital subsidiary BLOOD BLAST for the release of its debut EP, "The Rise Of Heresy", featuring four new original songs and cover versions of two early SEPULTURA classics, "Bestial Devastation" and "Troops Of Doom". "THE TROOPS OF DOOM is specially inspired by my early SEPULTURA albums, but not only... It has a very old-school approach overall, primitive and raw, almost nostalgic, I would say... And on a good way, of course... bringing back that '80's metal bands feeling." Jairo says.

Svi albumi valjaju, da se ne lazemo. Ali Demanufacture i Archetype su najjaci, po mom misljenju. Mnogi vole Mechanize ali meni nikada nije bas nesto legao, previse mi je zestok za FF 🙂

In Flames will be issuing a 20th anniversary edition of their 2000 album “Clayman” on September 04th. The album was newly remastered by Ted Jensen (Pantera, Deftones) and features several new additions. Among them are a new instrumental track “Themes And Variations In D-Minor” and re-recorded versions of “Bullet Ride“, “Only For The Weak“, “Pinball Map” and “Clayman“. The newly re-recorded tracks were produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Papa Roach) and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, Rob Zombie).
