As previously reported, Dutch metallers ROYAL HUNT have completed the song-writing for their new and upcoming studio album which will become a sequel to their 1997 album Paradox. The band are currently at NorthPoint Productions in Copenhagen. Mixing has been scheduled for September at the EMI/Medley Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark. The band check in from the studio: "She's back! Now even reinforcing her oestrogen attack by inviting another 'iron maiden' to the feast – Soma Allpas - to join her on a few tracks (probably because of a constant growl from the control room: 'Make it sound bigger!' she realised the impossibility of singing a couple of voices simultaneously?). Anyway, now there’s more of them and they are all over the place (we’re starting to suspect those girls in a attempt to turn this album into another girl-fronted-pop-metal-thing) while the (male) rest of the band’s just going “NO WAY!!!” and trying to look mean (metal style)."

Bas mi je drago sto je tako, jer je previse umisljenih i "opakih" faca u Metalu.

Singer Mikkel Sandager, from Danish metallers MERCENARY, has issued the following update: "Well, first of all, the new album is really progressing rapidly. We are in writing mode and it feels really good to be creative again. I guess I didn't realize how much I had piled up inside because I find myself writing and writing. Can't comment on any titles or songs yet but I am really exited about everything I have heard so far. It is going to be very nice to have René (Pedersen; bass/vocals) in the process as well as he is able to give us the harsh vocals that I couldn't do on The Hours That Remain. On another note, I am starting to look very much forward to playing the next show. I guess I have become quite addicted to doing shows and I feel pretty strange to not play any for two or three months. We will start recording the new album in late October and hope for a spring 2008 release but no date has been set yet."

Svi albumi, pa i novi su super! Svidja mi se kako se Jacob Hansen uklopio na mjestu vokala, koga najvise znamo kao producenta.

CYNIC - Live In Belgrade (14.08.2007.)

Koncert za vjecno pamcenje! Odusevljen sam sto sam prisustvovao istoriji, jer je Cynic posebna muzicka prica. Ozvucenje je bilo odlicno, s malim propustom na vokalu. O bendu je suvisno bilo sto reci - majstori su majstori, to je valjda svima jasno. Posjeta je bila dobra, cini mi se oko 300 ljudi. Na kraju koncerta sam uhvatio Sean-ovu palicu i Paul-ovu trzalicu. Ostaje mala zal sto sve nije duze trajalo, ali to ima svoje opravdanje. Nadajmo se novom albumu i s njim i turneji na kojoj ce ponovo doci. Hvala organizatoru sto nam je omogucio ovaj koncert i pozdrav za ekipu s kojom sam se tamo vidio.
