Češki underground izdavač Zero Budget Production je ovaj put ukrstio koplja sa našim Grom Records-om, kako bi zajedno izdali ovaj odlični album. A pitate se zašto? Verovatno zato što bend ovakvog kalibra zaslužuje istri tretman u Evropi kao i u Srbiji. Pravi underground duh tokom pola sata koliko traje album, neće vam dati mira jer će vas uvući u brzi vrtlog old school thrash prosto koji pleni svakim tonom i riffom. Tokom devet numera, Infest se ni jednog trenutka neće libiti da uspori, kako bi vam dali kratak predah, koji ćete imati tek toliko koliko je CD playeru potrebno da prebaci sa kraja albuma na ponovni početak. Priču zaokružuju gostovanjem legendarnog Aad Kloosterwaard-a na numeri „Screaming From Within“, koji je dao punu podršku ovom bendu. Moram da napomenem i jedinu numeru koja je na srpskom, „Krstu je kraj“, na kojoj im gostuje Glad (May Result). Completely unexpectedly snowed the short but intense second album Player of the Serbs from INFEST our editorial staff. Just over two years, the men their "Anger Will Remain recorded" debut, which was distributed via Terror Blast Productions, have such a convincing Old School Death / Thrash Hammer, but I would not expect the sophomore. For "Onward to Destroy" is exactly the kind of fodder for people that their old MORBID ANGEL / DEMOLITION HAMMER prefer and / or MALEVOLENT CREATION slices dote and a slightly dirty punchy deathig tinged voice in these supersonic eruptions. INFEST give up its eight tracks full throttle from start to finish, relax this Brutalo refined conglomerate with lulled into Serbian by guest vocals of singer MAY RESULT Glad and (temporary) come along a bit of attitude "Krstu je Kraj" in some convincing and otherwise, from beginning to end so that it is hard to believe that this young clusters must be a sad existence in the Serbian periods Metal Underground. Also gratifying that INFEST Was not too bad with the almost Midlletempo hammer "back to the" a soothing counterpoint to incorporate into their fast and furious Death / Thrash brew is still worn to a Broken anthem chorus. And just when the song it was time the old cult slices of CARNIVORE (they're digging up only two!) To get only confirms the presumption that exhibit Goran "Vandal" Sokolovic actually striking similarities to a certain Peter Steele anno 1985 has. Is Abgreundet this thoroughly recommendable Rundling by guest vocals by SINISTER's Aad Kloosterwaard, which gives its title to the wrecking ball with a congenial Vandal hate duel. Dear people, all on the mangy death / thrash the good, old-school are those who like it fast and like to sincerely should have this half hour of global destruction again, has absolutely international format this release! Infest Posted January 9, 2010 Report post Posted January 9, 2010 Evo jos jedne recenzije Alzirskog web zina DEPRAVITY ZINE: BAND : Infest ALBUM : Onward to destroy LABEL: Grom records, Zero budget production Infest is coming from Serbia, formed in 2003 the band get through many line up changes, after releasing 2 demos “Inquisition” in 2003 and “time to die” in 2005 and their first full length “anger will remain” in 2006 released by terror blast production, the band recorded an EP “Christ denial” in 2008, now they unleashed their 2nd album “Onward to destroy” in 2009. After this short overview about the band let’s talk about this new album Onward to destroy contains 9 tracks, I really like the intro because it sounds very dark it will let you think about chaos and destruction, then the first song “onward to destroy” nice song and it’s absolutely clear it’s pure trash death metal , technical riffing and great death metal vocal pretty intense, there is a guest vocal on the track “screaming from within” done by Aad kloosterwarrd from Sinister, very great song, they are into anti -religion ideology lyrics, the 5th song was written in Serbian language and the 6th track “a sickness named religion was written by Harry Maat song writer of Vader, talking about Vader this band seems to be influenced by their music. Most of the techical approach are well executed especially the guitars nice solos mixed with nice drumming work perfectly fitting the whole record. Sasvim zasluzeno, rekli bismo bez preteranog razmisljanja. Momci uporno rade jos od prvog demo snimka iz 2003. godine, sto je rezultiralo objavljivanjem debi albuma za Terror Blast Production 2006. godine (Anger Will Remain). Kad je aktuelni album u pitanju, nekoliko bitnih podataka vredi pomenuti odmah na pocetku - produkcija albuma je na svetskom nivou! Drugim recima, svaki element (sviracki, vizuelni, idejni, produkcijski) kod Infesta dobija maksimalnu prolaznu ocenu. Od kredita, valja pomenuti svetske face poput Aad Kloosterwaarda (Sinister), koji gostuje na vokalima u pesmi Screaming from Within, Harry Maata (Vader) koji je napisao tekst pesme Sickness Named Religion, i na kraju Glada (May Result) koji je vokalno upotpunio za sada jedinu Infest pesmu napisanu na srpskom jeziku, Krstu je Kraj. Veoma zreo materijal imamo ovde. Pomenusmo i vizuelni segment, momci izgledaju koherentno i kao svaki svetski metal sastav, produkciju potpisuje Ivan (studio Draft), i verujem da se bolji posao ne bi uradio nigde u Srbiji. Sviracka strana je takodje jaka, Infest cine prekaljeni muzicari koji su 1. naslusani zanra i 2. vrhunski navezbani. Thrash/death metal koji nam nude, ne pomera granice tog zanra ni u kom pravcu, ali sigurno je veliki doprinos istom, i radost za sve postovaoce pomenutih pravaca. Onward to Destroy je veoma ubedljivo izdanje i jedan od jacih srpskih metal albuma skoro zavrsene godine. Ili sto bi se narodski reklo "parenje sve u 16" (www.myspace.com/infestserbia, [email protected]).
