Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe recently checked in with Metal File about the Virginia metallers' next studio effort, which he said they'll embark on this year. "We're going to be writing a new record," he confirmed of the yet-untitled LP, adding that he's going to jet to Japan in February to "kick it with the wife" before putting his nose to the grindstone. "[I'm going to] try and take a deep breath for a few months before we start writing a new record," he said. "I figure we'll start heading into the ... practice space in late March or something." Blythe also pulled back the curtain on a side project, revealing that he's been ganging up with Steve Zing, a founding member of Glenn Danzig's Samhain act. "I saw him and Danzig recently, and I'm going to do something kinda creepy with [Zing]," Blythe said. Adding to what looks to be a busy '08, he added, "I'm working on a lot of different writing projects with different magazines. I'm working on a comic book now as well."

'Walk With Me In Hell' is a documentary chronicling every detail in the lives of the biggest band in metal as they completed recording and toured around the world nearly three times over in support of the biggest selling metal album of 2007, the Grammy-nominated, Top 10 charting, Sacrament.

The 'Walk With Me In Hell' two DVD set features over five hours of incredible, all-access footage. Disc 1 contains the highly anticipated feature documentary 'Walk With Me In Hell' and multiple live performance extras from across the globe on the Sacrament World Tour. Disc 2 includes the additional full-length feature "Making of Sacrament" plus LAMB OF GOD's entire, uncut, brutal performance at the Download Festival 2007, where they performed in front of over 72,000 fans. Extras include deleted scenes, live performance videos for various tour stops, the official music video for "Redneck," and a "Making of Redneck" documentary.

 

"We're on stage for 90 minutes a day," says drummer Chris Adler. "People want to know what's going on for the other 22 and 1/2 hours. It's not always limousines and champagne. Killadelphia surprised a lot of people and proved that we refuse to censor or hold anything back. True to the high standard that we hold ourselves to, 'Walk With Me In Hell' is unlike any music DVD I've ever seen. Ima da se skine DVDrip(2 diska)na mediaportalu pa ko zeli.....Nekako mi je novi DVD napucan sa sranjima 'poznati smo'....vishe od polovine potpisuju gitare i ta sranja...mada ima i par zanimljivih scena,ali je Killadelphia neuporedivo bolji DVD.Takodje ima ceo Download,making the Sacrament,behind the"redneck" i 5/6 live pesama sa razlichitih turneja....cheka se album.

LAMB OF GOD ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM DUE FEBRUARY 2009


New York, NY - LAMB OF GOD has commenced recording on the follow up to 2006's Grammy-nominated Sacrament. Their new album is scheduled for release in February 2009 and will be produced by Josh Wilbur. Josh Wilbur is well known for his Grammy Award winning work with Steve Earl. The album will be recorded in New York City; Virginia Beach, VA; Richmond, VA; and New Hampshire.

The album will see a North American release on Epic Records with Roadrunner Records handling all NON North American releases.

Band drummer Chris Adler states, "We are excited change things up this time and work with Josh. We've never stayed in one place too long, and the evolution continues. There is an aggressive shift in the material and our approach. The bar has been raised."

LAMB OF GOD shipped gold with their double DVD Walk With Me In Hell and after five weeks are rapidly approaching platinum status.

Following production, LAMB OF GOD will head out on an extensive world tour commencing with their support slot in December with Metallica.
