Da poznat mi je taj bend, sviraju neki tehnikal-progresive metal; imam samo jedan album : Penumbra Diffuse (2006)

 

Formed in 1999 by Sapp, Ginn, and former bassist Jimmy McCall. Band played increasingly weird death metal for two and a half years before adding Simpkins to the line-up and going instrumental. Recorded the Spatial/Design EP in Dec. 2002, which was promptly released the next year by North Carolina label Tribunal Records. In 2004, Canvas released their debut LP, Sublimation, again through the Tribunal label. In Feb. 2005, Canvas signed with Sensory Records (home to Spiral Architect, Gordian Knot, Zero Hour, et al.), who just released the band's second full-length album,Penumbra Diffuse. Slaughtering, pillaging, and world domination to be released later this year.

    Uhhh... Slušam album od kad sam se probudila i mogu reći da mi je vreme proletelo :da:

    Znači ne želim da izdvajam ni jednu pesmu, jer mi se ceo album uklopio kao jedna odlična celina.

    Mnogo mi se sviđa što je instrumentalan, vokal bi ovde bio totalno suvišan.

    Gitara je sasvim po mom ukusu.

    Totalno opuštena atmosfera, sa predivnim melodijama.

     

    Imam i njihov Penumbra diffuse odavno, ali se nešto ne sećam kako mi se svideo :redface: , moraću ponovo da ga odslušam :lol:

    Definitivno Bunalti.com :lol: ,i ja cu se potrudit da nedje skinem ovaj novi album ali nadam se nechem boljem,jer prvi album je boooring ili samo chujem nesto doodlee doodlee doo, skronk-skreek-ping!...ne kazem ima dobrija momenata ali brrrr...ovo je najbolje onima koji prave tu mjuzu ali ovo budzenje je bzw-eze.... :opusteno:

    Pa lakshe je raditi instrumentalnu muziku na neki nachin,sa vokalom sa druge strane treba obezbijediti mjesto za vokala,textove,emocije...,ah dosta posla... :rolleyes:

    Prva stavr na albumu otkida .. jbt, promene signature time-a u svakom taktu ... e koliko treba biti bolestan za ovako nešto.

     

    Ipak, utisak o celom albumu je da ovo nije album koji bih slušao svaki dan i koji bi mi ikad postao omiljeni ... lepo za čuti i diviti se muzičarima, ali pesme nigde nema ...

    setio si se verovatno jer sam ga ja jedini stavio medju najbolje prog albume godine.

     

    inache, jedan od meni omiljenih progressive bendova. sinoc sam ih slushao posle duzeg vremena pa ga stavih medju najjache albume. prosto uzivam u svakom albumu. najjachi mi je cortical tectonics.
