Fleshgod Apocalypse is born in April 2007. The band features members of Hour Of Penance, Promaetheus Unbound and T.E.R. After the release of “Promo ‘07” recorded and mixed at 16th Cellar Studio by the producer Stefano “Saul” Morabito the band signs to Neurotic Records. The two tracks contained in the promo are also included in the 4-way split “Da Vinci Death Code” distributed via Spew Rec. In early 2008 the band performs some live dates to spread his name in the Italian and European underground scene supporting bands like Behemoth, Origin, Dying Fetus, Hate Eternal, Suffocation, Napalm Death and many more. In May 2008 the band enters again 16th Cellar Studio to record its first full-length album, “Oracles”.

In December 2008 the band decides to part ways with Neurotic Records and ink a deal with Willowtip Records that will release the debut “Oracles”.

The album will be distributed via Willowtip Records (US/WORLD) and Candlelight Records (EU).

Storming the Balkans

 

It's June 28th 1914. Franz Ferdinand, heir to the throne of Austria - Hungary and his wife visit Sarajevo, capital of Austro - Hungarian province Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

A member of The Black Hand assassinates them there when visiting a hospital. This action led to a chain of events triggering World War I.

 

Exactly 95 years later, God Dethroned will play Sarajevo promoting their album "Passiondale" (based on World War I).

 

Leading the concept further beyond the story on the album.

 

A whole tour on the Balkans with fellow deathsters Fleshgod Apocalypse and Sacramental Blood is based around it, being the start of a massive world tour in 2009.

After long days of negotiations and preparations hereby we would like to announce "Funeral Nation Tour 2009"- a co-headlining European tour of two well known metal monsters VADER and MARDUK. It's going to be a special event for all black and death metal freaks the more so because the tour will promote bands' newest full length albums. VADER is ready to unleash hell with their brand new monster "Necropolis" (to be out in August 21 through Nuclear Blast) while MARDUK is working on a new opus for Regain Records. Be prepared for a massive panzer attack, ashes, burning ground and total destruction. During this killing trek the co-headliners will be supported by amazing Italian brutal death metal band FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE and one more act (soon to be announced). "Funeral Nation Tour 2009" will cover most of European regions except for the UK, Scandinavia, the Balkans and Baltic States. MARDUK and VADER are planning to invade these places early 2010!
