In March 2012, four bands for Profound Lore Records converged on the Glass House in Pomona. YOB, The Atlas Moth, Loss, Wolvhammer, and Pallbearer each played a thirty-minute set. Odličan bend inače, trebalo bi da i ovaj valja.

Još malo rituala, valja se.

Ако се добро сећам, спомињали су се они овуда у неколико наврата. Ај па јављајте какав је. Скидам свакако, али чисто да имам у виду шта да очекујем.

Album je dosta mekši i sporiji, pogotovu u prvom delu, možda samo zadnja stvar ima onu otkačenu atmosferu sa starih.

Rituala kolko hoćeš mada su pesme pomalo jednolične. Zanimljiv album ali Feral Spirit je nenadmašan.

Preporuka za masivni atmosfericni death doom sa demonski dubokim growl-om. "Doomed" iz Njemacke:

San Francisco based doom rockers, ORCHID, have announced to release an EP featuring 3 brand new tracks + 1 song from the latest full-length album, „Capricorn“, on September 7, 2012.

The EP, entitled „Heretic“, marks the first release for Nuclear Blast and will be released both digitally as well as on 10“ vinyl.

Commented guitarist Mark Baker: "Late in 2010, after we submitted the „Capricorn“ full length to our label and waited for the release, we realized that there wouldn’t be any extensive touring, so we just kept writing and rehearsing new material. A few months later, we were back in the studio cutting basics for new songs. By the time we finished the business of changing labels, we had way more than one album worth of new songs. We, along with Nuclear Blast, decided it would be a great idea to release a few of those on an EP this year while we wrap up everything for our next full length. We’re really excited for people worldwide to get a chance to check out what we’ve been up to in the last year. These new songs have the classic, anthemic ORCHID sound that people expect from us, along with a few elements that we’ve never shown before."

Ubacivanje pesme izdate pre dve godine je malo čudan izbor.

Stari fazon - za ljude koji će se upoznati sa bendom preko EP-a, da ih zainteresuje odmah i za album. Mada danas svakako poskidaš sve to za minut, ali eto.

Zato kažem, čudan izbor za današnje vreme.

"Häxagram", the new video from Swedish hard rockers THE GRAVIATORS, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's sophomore album, "Evil Deeds", which will be released on August 31 via Napalm Records.

 

According to a press release, THE GRAVIATORS "revitalize the spirit of the '70s without sounding like a dusty retro band, because the Swedes skillfully give each track their own character. Besides obvious hard rock musical influences, THE GRAVIATORS combine various doom and stoner rock elements to give each track a pleasant level of heaviness."
