When in my 20-somethings, I was introduced to many crossover/thrash metal acts during the 80s; Ludichrist, DxRxIx, Crumbsuckers, C.o.C., Cryptic Slaughter, Soothsayer, Attitude Adjustment and so many others coming to my mind first. The whole crossover thing was really great during the 80s, and it´s sometimes good to see some new bands going back to that classic crossover sound, and trying to make their best of it. That is what this Serbian 4-piece crossover/thrash act named Nadimac, is also (at least) trying to do on the band´s so far only full-length album, DRZAVNI NEPRIJATELJ BROJ KEC. The album contains also the band´s 5-song self-released EP, titled METAL JE RAT (translated “Metal Is War” in English), but as a fully re-recorded version. Nadimec plays simple, fast-paced, raw and punk-ish crossover thrash, and indeed its intention is to obtain some of that ´magic & mayhem´ where such crossover acts like DxRxI, Crumbsuckers, etc., were once so good and convincing at. The only problem is that even if they have surely tried their very best to make Nadimec´s stuff to turn the ears of some cultivated and experienced crossover/thrash fans to their side, I think the nostalgic value of this album grows old simply way too soon. Sure thing, it is always nice to hear this type of stuff churned out from some other places of the world than some of your favorite crossover/thrash troops from the axis of BA-NY-Montreal-Beauport – and in fact I bet the Serbian Nadimec has reached a pretty good following in their home country too, amongst the circles of crossover/thrash metal fans at least. It´s just too bad their stuff hardly makes me to want to revisit their album any more, let´s say, after the first 2-3 rounds or so. It´s no denying that the album has its cool, nostalgic moments, but unfortunately they just don’t carry too far, if I am completely honest with all of you. U poslednje dve godine mnogo je bendove iz novog talasa thrash metala ponelo ovaj epitet, Da li zbog stvarnog stanja stvari, da li zbog toga da zvuce svezije i drugacije od obicnih thrash ili speed bendova. Da li je thrash/black crossover i ako jeste zasto se onda tako ne nzaiva? D ali je thrash/death crossover, black/death takodje? itd Bilo bi cool da ljudi ovde n aprimeru nekog, ili nekih bendova prepoznaju koji su to elementi krosovera kod najvecih ovakvih bendova pa i kod underground... Moj primer, MUNICIPAL WASTE, fora je sto je ovaj bend opste prihvacen i vrlo je popularan i u metal i u core krugovima, Cesto se pominje kako su oni odradili nesto originalno. bend je stvarno dobar ali sam po sebi nije uradio nista sto vec niej postojalo, ali je ukombinovao elemente razlicitih tradicija: jak uticaj americke skole Slejera, S.O.D, Nuklear asolta, Metalike,+ Sabbata(Engleska), sodom, kreator, tankard (Nemacka) itd jos vazniji uticak Americke skole Oldschool HC-a Blek fleg, D.R.I, Sperm brds, 7 sekunds, milion ded kaps, gorila giskits*a, itd E sad, vecini maldjih metalaca ali i verujem nekolicini korovaca danas su slabo poznati Hc bendovi koji su pre 20 i vise godina bili underground ali u svoje vreme prilicno uticajni, Pa mi se cini da iz toga proistice fascinacija zvukom M.W. ja bi nazvao ono sto danas radi M.W. mnogo pre krosoverom izmedju oldschool metala i Hard kora, nego necim novim, tj nekim novim thrashom. Zahvaljujuci ranim crossover bendovima javljaju se ovakvi uspesni hibridi. Dajte vase misljenje i primere bas me interesuje

odlicno bilo , mnogo bolje sve ukupno nego sto sam mislio (prvo zbog usranog vremena0 Fala Alisi sto me je podsetila zasto toliko volim grawl, a i ovo je jedan od retkih domacih dm bendova gde znam tekstove i mogu da potpomazem u refrenima :0 Jos sam ja pokusavao Tebi(Alisa) i Filipu(Filip) da posvetite jednu pesmu Svabi, ili da ga pomenete, jer on jadnicak cami iz onih bubnjeva, Shvatljivo je sto me niste razumeli ...bio sam pod naponom hahaa pa je u onoj euforiji moja poruka zvucala nerazumljivo :0 haha 111

Eto od danas album se polako siri svetom, normalno Rusi i sl su vec okacili album na nekoliko sajtova za download i sl, Sa jedne stane to je bezveze a sa druge bar ce ljudi po svetu da cuju nas album pa mozda neko i naruci cd Sto se tice vas koji ste ovde, i koji ste deo nase scene, Podrzite bend, podrzite scenu i kupite original Jer je to jedini nacin da budemo u manjem minusu (treba bar delom nadoknaditi troskove snimanja, postarine, carine, probe da nepominjem) Original je ipak original, a da nepominjem da je to jedini nacin da i ubuduce snimamo i sl.
