To some, THE REVOLTING COCKS (aka REVCO) is the bastard offspring of MINISTRY madman Al Jourgensen and it seems that "Uncle Al" is a damn proud papa these days. "This is the best REVCO album I've ever done," said Al, who produced the album. "As a matter of fact, I think this is the best album — including MINISTRY, PAILHEAD, LARD — anything I've ever done, period. Production-wise, song-wise, I'm really, really happy with this record. It's the first CD I've ever gotten back from the mastering studio that I didn't have anything to bitch about. No complaints. I listened to the whole thing and just went, 'OK — that's a wrap. Let's go!'" While still retaining the unmistakable REVCO industrial-dance-metal sound, "Sex-O Olympic-O" sees the group (Josh Bradford/vocals, Sin Quirin/guitars, Clayton Worbeck/keyboards) let first-wave glam rock seep into their already rich sound. Case in point, the soon-to-be quirky anthem (and first single from the album) "I'm Not Gay", which debuted on MINISTRY's 2008 "C U LaTouR" live shows and is now a solid staple on MySpace and Facebook homepages around the world. Set for release October 14, 2008 via Jourgensen's label 13th Planet Records, it turns out that "Sex-O Olympic-O" was supposed to be REVCO's swansong. However, according to singer Bradford, it was the quality of the material that made Jourgensen alter his plan slightly. "Originally, it was going to be the final REVCO album, Al was ready to put MINISTRY and REVCO to rest. Al and Sin had a couple of ideas, he gave them to me and we threw them together. Al was like, 'Fuck! We're not going to have this be the last album.' He made a decision after hearing the first few tracks to keep it going, because it was going to be one of the best REVCO albums to come out. We were in El Paso — we set up a couple of little studios. We sat down — me, Al and Sin, and then Clayton later joined us — we just started trading tracks. It just magically came together. Most of the time, we all tracked individually, which is very strange for an album when you do that to come out so cohesive. The only time we hung out was when we went to strip clubs or got wasted." As evidenced by such tracks as "Hookerbot 3000" and "The Red Parrot", REVCO's affection for frequenting strip clubs has certainly rubbed off on them musically, as many of the songs sound like a custom-made soundtrack for strippers worldwide to strut their stuff to. But if you dig deep into the lyrics, you'll be afforded a direct look into the warped and twisted mind of Bradford. "Josh recorded a lot of these vocals in his apartment — really thin walls with no soundproofing," points out Worbeck. "He was tracking in the middle of the night with headphones on, yelling these bizarre phrases that are in the song at the top of his lungs. If you think about it, his neighbors weren't hearing music, all they were hearing was him yelling these strange lyrics. His neighbors must think he's insane." The last word goes to Jourgensen, who offers to clear up once and for all the rumors surrounding REVCO's future. "I am leaving after this album, and I'm turning it over to a younger generation of REVCO's — much like MENUDO does or BLUE MAN GROUP. I'm kind of franchising it out. It started in 1983 — with me, Luc Van Acker and Richard 23 from FRONT 242. There were three of us, and now, I've found these other three young knuckleheads who I think capture the true essence and spirit of being 'a REVOLTING COCK,' if you will. Picture me, Luc and Richard as when you walk into a bank and you have the portraits of the founders. And we've turned it over to these three guys - under the one condition that in five years, they have to turn it over to three other new guys. They have to find the right people to carry on the tradition — which is a lot of keg parties, beer chugging, throwing up, sexual abnormalities." As evidenced by the strength of "Sex-O Olympic-O", Josh, Sin and Clayton will undoubtedly do the REVCO name proud for the next five years. REVCO plans to support "Sex-O Olympic-O" with lots of touring starting this fall.

Rocker-turned-filmmaker Rob Zombie has released a teaser poster (see below) for his next movie as screenwriter and director, titled "Tyrannosaurus Rex". The movie is rumored to be about a semi-professional wrestler who is being pursued by a "biker gang from hell." The film is due out on August 28, 2009 and will follow Zombie's hit 2007 remake of "Halloween". Zombie's upcoming animated film, "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto", is due out sometime this year. Rob Zombie recently issued a brief update on the progress of his next studio album. Zombie wrote online, "Well, we have for the first time ever written more songs than we need for an album. Everything isn't 100% finished, but everything is moving along great. No release date yet." Zombie's next studio effort will follow up 2006's "Educated Horses", which was his third solo CD. He also released his first concert recording, "Zombie - Live", late last year. Although he's still apparently committed to making music, Zombie recently told Metal Edge magazine that the record labels are "dinosaurs waiting to die." Rob said in a recent conference call that he's not sure what future music distribution will look like. "There's got to be something else you can do because CDs, we know that's done," he said. "That's just done. And a download is just not that exciting. There's something missing when you — you can't walk up to someone and go, 'Oh, can you autograph my download?' There's got to be something else that can then happen. I just don't know. I mean, we're certainly trying to figure out what it is, because I want to figure out something special for the next musical release, whatever it will be." Ma daj, veca je faca od svih tih ostalih Grandovaca, smeker je uvek bio i ostao, samo sto ga je belo sjebalo, a kapiram da je ovaj poslednji album uvertira u njegovo sadasnje stanje, ili je mozda doziveo viziju da nece jos dugo biti na ovom svetu.

Organista i pevac Aleksandar Vuksanovic dobio je nadimak Aca Lukas, jer je sredinom osamdesetih godina svake noci svirao i zabavljao mlade na poznatom splavu-diskoteci "Lukas", na novobeogradsko Uscu. Kao sjajan muzicar, izvodjac i soumen kao "one man band", bio je najaktuelniji zabavljac beogradskih diskoteka, barova i nocnih klubova. Znao je po celu noc da zabavlja goste i imao je sjajan repertoar jer je, jednostavno, svirao sve - od rokenrola, pop muzike, disko saunda pa do ortodosknih narodnjaka. Ovog sjajnog muzicara videla je rokerka Snezana Miskovic Viktorija, i odmah ga uzela u svoj bend. S kraja osamdesetih i s pocetka devedesetih godina (pred rat) Viktorija je bila prilicno popularna pa su pravili koncerte sirom eks Jugoslavije. Aca je svirao kraj svoje sefice ali i Mladena Vojicica Tife i Dina Dvornika, kao njihovih gostiju na koncertima. Zajedno su pevali druzili se, ali i ucestvovali u narkomanskim seansama, gde su prednjacili Dino i Tifa. Tek 1995. godine kolege su naterale Acu da snimi prvi CD, i odmah mu je upalila pesma "Kuda idu ljudi kao ja", koja postaje pop-folk hit. U tom spoju pop muzike, roka i narodnjaka, Aleksandar Radulovic Futa i Marina Tucakovic, pozajmljujuci muziku iz Grcke, Kipra i Turske, prave mu naredne godine hit-album, sa hitom godine, pesmom "Pesma od bola".Uz , takodje plagijat-numere "Licna karta", "Ja ?ivim sam", "Rodjendan","Nije ti ovo Amerika"... Aca stize do 1999. godine i prvog trijumfalnog koncerta u beogradskoj hali "Pionir", pred oko 9.000 mladih. Posle turneje po zemlji osvojen je i stadion "Tasmajdan". U medjuvremenu, Aca za inostrano trziste liferuje dva albuma sa zivom svirkom u kafanama, koje tako voli. Iako je rec o odlicnom muzicaru, on je prvi pevac koji je uspeo sa mesavinom folk-popa i sa - ukradenim pesmama iz Grcke , Turske, Kipra, Iraka...!? Zbog raskalasnog zivota, previse vremena provedenog kraj ruleta u kockarnicama (Aca je priznao da je izgubio na kocki 2 miliona maraka!), kombinaciji alkohola, heroina i kokaina, nestao je sa scene. Posle gostovanja u TV emisijama, pod dejstvom narkotika, uz skandalozne izjave, Aca se zamerio mnogim kolegama. Na srecu, posle drugog braka cvrsto je odlucio da prestane sa drogiranjem i kockom. Ne zna se da li se otarasio poroka kocke, ali se zna da je posle lecenja u jednoj svajcarskoj klinici prekinuo sa drogiranjem. Obzavatelji i publika zeljno ocekuju Acin estradno-diskografski kambek. Nadamo se da ce uskoro Aca Lukas nastaviti sa uspehom druzenje sa muzikom. A Impact Is Imminent? Po meni je to albumcina i po, mozda cak omiljeni mi Exodus album, sto se tice novijih izdanja, Tempo je bio dobar, a Shovel H.K.M. je zajeban, rifovi, tekstovi, produkcija ma sve je bilo super.... I onda je izasao Atrocity Exibition A i u najkracem mogucem roku mi zgadio ovaj odlican bend...

Znam, dosta sam pesacio danas u potrazi za fugom, obisao sam jedno desetak farbara dok je nisam nasao i skoro se istopio od paklenog sunca

Super su pesme na spejsu, jeste da kompresija malo unistava kvalitet ali sta sad... Nadam se da na ovoj Beogradskoj svirci album naci u prodaji, posto ovoliko cekanje davi, a i leto je pa mi treba neka muzika da udarim po slavlju i veselju

Nemam klimu, nemam ni ventilatore, i svi prozori su mi otvoreni, jerbo bih pocrkao od vrucinstine, plasim se da ce ovo leto biti pakleno

Pa pojavljuje se na pocetku filma Lopezova, inace film je trebao da ima Lopez/Afleka kao par u filmu ali posto su se ovo dvoje tada raskantali nista nije bilo od toga (hvala svevisnjem na tome!) Liv Tyler je sexy!
