Pančevački most su gradila nemačka preduzeća Siemens-Baunion GmbH iz Berlina (stubovi) i firme Deutsch-Luxemburgische Bergwerks- und Hütten-AG (Dortmund) i deo je posleratnih reparacija Srbiji. Prvobitno je trebalo da bude samo železnički most sa dva koloseka i konzolom za drumski saobraćaj. Većim delom je bio završen već 1934, kada su ga seljaci prelazili pešice, ako im žandarmi to dozvole.
