Philadelphia thrashers RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER have officially changed their name to THE DEVIL.

Grutle on "Waruun": "This was one of the songs that took the longest time to get into. It also turned out to be the biggest surprise and among the songs I enjoy the most on this album. This was among me and [keyboard player and clean vocalist] Herbrand's biggest difficulties when figuring out what to sing over things, and one of the last we recorded. It became quite experimental on all layers, but at the same time weirdly catchy! The best of those two worlds, one might say! A killer song in my maybe-not-too-humble opinion." Ivar on "Waruun": "This is one of the first songs written for the album. "The way the songwriting process starts is that I go away somewhere with my mobile recording rig. This time I didn't go far, but far enough out of Bergen [Norway] to start forgetting some of the mundane distractions that can block creativity (rock-blocking?). "The title is a construction of mine, and people can put whatever they want into it; I know vocalists Grutle and Herbrand have made their own interpretations. It is one of our heaviest song openers and shows how focused ENSLAVED's musical energy can be, contrasting the more floating, 'spacey' parts that follow the opening. "This is one of the songs that really benefitted from our heavy focus on working out arrangements in the rehearsal room rather than in the pre-production studio. The dynamics vary a lot and 'solving' the song requires finding the transitions between these dynamics. To be able to do that requires working in a 'real' environment, i.e. rehearsal room. Studio work only reveals so much of the inner life of the song."

Ghost ima da se probije sa debi albumom kao The devil's blood onomad, baš obećavaju a vidiš da sviraju na Roadburnu a imaju samo jedan demo.

Nadam se da pod "meh bendovi" nisi mislio na Place of skulls, Blood ceremony i Ghost.
