Progresivan je album, ali i preplice se sa brutalnoscu i epicnoscu u celinu koja ima svoju poruku i pouku.

Prosli album im je po meni najbolji rad. Valjda nastave u istom stilu.

To, jes da nisam gledao puno snimaka sa Tarjom, ali na svim koje sam video je bila poprilicno staticna. Povodom izbora nove pevacice - ja sam bas razmisljao kad su je sutnuli da bi bilo bezveze da nadju neku njenu kopiju, tetka je donela nesto novo u bend, svezinu. DPP je super album, i to je meni najbitnije.

Pa jes, u pravu si skroz, kad se covek seti jos Satyricona koji su savrseno zvucali...

Prosle godine, ruku na srce, mnogo bolji zvuk, mislis na svirku?

Vazno je da ste se lepo pokazali, pa ce valjda doci solo, mozda da ih Buddha dovede u L.Room (osim ako nije umro sinoc na Whatever :)

Hail Of Bullets are maybe newcomers on the scene, but the members of the band are in no possible way beginners! This is a sort of super group made by famous Holland death metal freaks : former Pestilence/Asphyx-singer Martin van Drunen, ex-Houwitser bass player Theo van Eekelen, Gorefest-drummer Ed Warby and both Thanatos-guitarists Paul Baayens (also in Asphyx) and Stephan Gebédi. Guys hooked up for a drinking sessions and their mutual love for old school Death Metal resulted in creating of this band. The buzz for this record in metal world was pretty big and regarding the line up considerably so, but let us see have they delivered the goods… In one word – yes! This is the kind of Death Metal that is sorely missing in larger doses from today’s scene, where everyone is concerned how brutal, technical and fast they are. Hail Of Bullets don’t give a flying fuck about this trends, instead they decided to bring to us, old school maniax, the album with actual songwriting and song arrangments, returning us back in time when gods like Pestilence, Asphyx, Death and Massacre ruled the world of Metal. It should be said that this is a conceptual album dealing about the Eastern Front in World War II, and music certainly carry warlike feeling, like “being run over by a Tiger tank” as mr. Warby appropriately stated. Maybe I am a little bit biased beacuse of involvement of one and only Martin van Drunen, but to these ears “...Of Frost And War“ sounds like a natural crossing of his former bands Pestilence and Asphyx. Pestilence influences can be felt in faster sections which are used to grind your bones and invoke in you the frenzy of the battlefield and Asphyx is found in trademark slower doom sections, purely crushing and hopeless-like. One more parallel could be drawn also, and it is Bolt Thrower with their bulldozing style. Guitar riffs are pretty simple but get the job done, and they are tied by excellent lead work. Dan Swano was the man behind the mixing board and he did the great job, giving album enough of a good production not to sound dated but also he didn’t drown the sound in Pro Tools but instead kept it natural. Metal Blade is doing the killer on job on promoting the band, the interviews and reviews of the release are everywhere, the band will play selected summer festivals and I really hope that Hail Of Bullets wont stay just a project for these guys. Great stuff!

A to je Tarja, jel? Kako za koga, meni je bitno da su pesme dobre.

Meni je Thornography postao vrh album (kakav prevrat, a nisam mogao da ga smislim ) a realno je najgori CoF, a novi nece biti gori po defaultu jer se vracaju na tematiku koja se meni svidja, dakle eto meni radosti

+1 aman jebala vas Tarja, boli me kurac za nju, Tuomas je tu, a on radi svu muziku. Cak stavise, tetka milfara mi je vise nego simpa.

Dani makar zna da koristi znake interpunkcije, za razliku od tebe.

Sinoc sam i ja ufatio na TVu, mnogo je to bolje zvucalo live, da nisam gledao i ja bih svasta pomislio.

:) izgleda da sam najtrazenija osoba na Yumu trenutno. E da, jos ovo... Pre neki dan sam dobio intervju od Hamisha iz MDB, morao sam da ga podbodem za Anathemu naravno, on rece It’s been quite a while since I listened to new Anathema material, much as I’m sure they haven’t really been listening to what we’ve been doing. Diplomatski Mislim da ce se pobiti na ovoj turneji, zato su i samo 2 svirke zajedno, vise ne bi ni izdrzali.

Ma covece, ja sam dobio ceo album, 10 pesama. Sad ce to da iscuri, cim su promosi poslati, pitanje je dana... Do tad - verujte mi da su sve pesme vrh jeste culi novu?

Pa zar ga nisi vec svukao? Stekao sam takav utisak... Jel se pojavio ceo album, ja sam dobio promo od Peacevilla, nemam pojma.

ma mislim na Hindsight, sorry...

Mozda je malo prerano, ali ovo je apsolutni vrh i za mene nesto najbolje sto je Anathema izbacila od Judgement. Ko ovo moze opusteno da preslusa svaka mu cast... Mogu tek misliti kako je bilo na Anathema / Porcupine Tree turneji.
