Jel ima autotune na ovom? Pustio sam prosli i nisam mogao da ga zavrsim od krindza :D Cini mi se da od svih novijih je mozda The Storm Within najblizi ranijim albumima, doduse secam se i da sam Hymns bas slusao kad je izasao i usao mi je solidno u uvo.

Bump za babu Beth, izbacila je odlican solo album. Vise folky, standardna melanholija i njen vanvremenski glas, sve kako treba.

Sa njima je ista prica kao sa Evergrey, Borknagar, itd., noviji albumi su daleko vise slusaniji nego ono sto mi smatramo zlatnim periodom (Bilateral/Coal), evo i Baard okacio na Instagram da im je ova nova rekord po broju slusalaca u prvih par dana, tako da tesko da ce bas da ga ispuse bar u tom komercijalnom smislu.

Kul prica kako je nastala Absolute Zero: John Macaluso - official This is my favourite ARK song that we ever wrote. Quick story: We were doing a photo shoot while recording the Burn The Sun album in Germany in 2000. I was and still am a huge Bjork fan so I kept playing the same song over and over again at the photon session. All the music was recorded and it was time for vocals but me and Jorn were not done with all the lyrics yet or vocal melodies. Absolute Zero was the last song we recorded and we had to finish so I found a science book on the shelf in the studio and it was all in English. I said, "Jorn, check out these phrases" and terms like SOLAR FLARE etc. It totally fit the drum and bass jungle drumming space guitar vibe we were going for. Not many or no bands were doing that until ARK (Pink Floyd on top, double bass drums and live played jungle drum beats). After me and Jorn wrote all the lyrics we went into the studio and to everyone's surprise, Jorn started doing the Bjork vocal vibe because he was listening to it over and over again on the photo session. We all freaked and we recorded him and obviously it kicked ass, to me it's ARK's most original song and breaks all rules and just came out a great song.

Moj hot take vezan za IF je da mi je Whoracle najmanje omiljen album iz te prve faze, tako da se definitivno ne slazem sa konstatacijom 😄

U to vreme ('02/'03) bih rekao da je mrtva trka. In Flames je imao vise albuma iza sebe, ali vec su izbacili Reroute to Remain koji mi je bio malo meh u odnosu na resto. Soilwork, s druge strane, 3 albuma bez mane (minus Steelbath koji mi nesto nikad nije legao). Sa ove distance je tek apsolutno jasno ko ima bolji лонџевити 😀

Is this the statement that I feel? Btw. setio sam se sad da si mi na serbiancafe-u hajpovao Soilwork kao bolji In Flames i preporucio da poslusam bas The Bringer, koji sam onda skidao brzinom 3kb/s jedno 4 sata 😄

Ja volim Load/Reload, a omiljeni Soilwork mi je Frenning/Wichers Soilwork
