doombringer Posted April 13, 2004 Report post Posted April 13, 2004 Legende U.S. i doom scene uopste.Nema potrebe da nesto detaljnije razglabam o njima osim da kazem da uskoro ulaze u studio i treba ocekivati nov album od njih uskoro.Na njihovom web-sajtu album "Into the depths of sorrow" je proglasen od strane fanova za njihov najbolji i ja se sa tim potpuno slazem a mogu da dodam da po mom misljenju njihova stvar Eternal( dreams pt.3) je savrsena doom stvar. Da li je to neka pomama ili šta već, ali u toku prošle godine su se reoformili i Trouble, a Messiah je ponovo u Candlemassu, Confessor je čak posle više od 10 godina na okupu... DragonHeart Posted November 13, 2005 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 "Adagio" je odlican album, na tragu radova Candlemass-a, i sa fenomenalnim vokalom Robert Lowe-a. Nazalost, imao je u zadnjih nekoliko mjeseci velikih problema sa glasnim zicama, pa je morao na operaciju, sto je prouzrokovalo odlaganje izlaska novog albuma. The Watchtower Posted June 5, 2006 Report post Posted June 5, 2006 SOLITUDE AETURNUS Begin Recording New Album Long-running Arlington, Texas-based doom metallers SOLITUDE AETURNUS entered Nomad Recording studio (MERCYFUL FATE, KING DIAMOND, ABSU, USURPER) in Carrolton, TX on June 1 to begin recording their new album for Massacre Records. Entitled "Alone", the CD will be the first to feature the band's new line-up, which includes founder/guitarist John Perez, vocalist Robert Lowe, guitarist Steve Moseley and new members Steve Nichols on drums and James Martin on bass. Engineering and co-producing the album is Sterling Winfield, best known for his work with PANTERA and more recently the REBEL MEETS REBEL release. Massacre Records will release the album in late September/early October. According to guitarist John Perez, the album will be "a fist in the face to all trend metal" and will stay true to the band's original vision of heaviness and melody with a willingness to push the boundaries of heavy metal music without losing its sense of tradition. Songtitles set to appear on the band's first album since 1998's "Adagio" include "Sightless", "Waiting For The Light", "Scent Of Death", "Essence Of Black", and "In Hell I Burn". Nisam siguran da ce neko, sto se tice doom scene, nadmasiti ovaj album u narednih godinu-dve, mozda jedino novi Funeral ili Fallen (ako uopste izadje). Odma' na pocetku kad sam cuo «Scent Of Death» mogao sam da pretpostavim sta sledi do kraja albuma. Na kraju vas definitivno zakuca «Tomorrows dead» (epic doom himna) i «Essence of Black» (cisto da se ne izneveri tradicija da jedna stvar mora da pocinje sa razlaganjem kao npr. Mirror of Sorrow, Beneath the Fading Sun ili Shatter My Spirit). Moj utisak je da i R. Low peva mnogo cistije nego na par prethodnih albuma (sto takodje doprinosi utisku da su SA zeleli da novi album vise zvuci kao prva dva izdanja). Potpuno sam ocaran s melodijama, rifovima, atmosferom i genijalnim pjevanjem Lowe-a, kome se ni malo ne poznaje da je imao operaciju glasnih zica.
