    "Altars of Madness" Dual Disc Release

     

    Earache Records are to release a Dual Disc format version of the landmark Death Metal album "Altars of Madness" by Morbid Angel on March 13 2006. Considered by many to be a defining moment in the genre, Altars of Madness was first released in 1989 and is still held in reverence by the majority of Death Metal fans.

     

    The DVD side of the Dual Disc features the long sought after November 1989 Nottingham Rock City show filmed on the bands first ever European outing, the legendary Grindcrusher Tour (alongside Napalm Death, Bolt Thrower and Carcass), and is the first Morbid Angel material to see an official DVD release.

    A free replica ticket of this show is available with the first 5,000 copies pressed.

    Morbid Angel је један од ретких метал бендова који је сваким новим издањем нудио нову и свежу музику. Довољно да Вас бар једна ствар изненади. Како их слушам од "Blessed Are the Sick" албума, то дефинитивно могу да потврдим! Кључ свега је то што Треј није просечни Американац, није ни Пит и то што улаже максималан напор да се НЕ ПОНАВЉА што већина обилно користи. Morbid Angel није једном рескирао, зато их сви готиве - зато што то што чују - слушају први пут на метал сцени. Зато и јесу вође death metala и један од најоригиналнијих метал бендова икад. Да додам, спадам у оне који више готиве Стив Такера.

    Formulas и Gateways сматрам ремек-делима, док је Heretic мало слабији због тотално неинвентивних текстова. Ипак, верујем да је то најбоља музика коју је бенд направио.

    Један од реееееееетких Америчких бендова које и даље слушам. Уз Dragonlord ...

    Naravno, nadam se da ce posetiti Beograd na sledecoj turneji. Ili da ce barem opet svirati u Pesti.

    Iako defnitivno gotivim vise Vincenta kao pevaca,moram da priznam da su albumi odradjeni sa Tuckerom fenomenalni,cak bi rekao da su i jos vise dobili na zestini,a i tekstovi su poprilicno interesantni-uglavnom o sumerskoj mitologiji....

     

    MA mi je jedan od omijenijih bendova,ali sto se tice death metal-a prvo mesto ubedljivo kod mene drzi Death(inace moj omiljeni metal bend) i legendarni Chuck Schuldiner dok se za drugo kolju MA i Cannibal Corpse....

    U svakom slucaju,MA je ekstra bend i jedan od utemeljivaca death metal scene u Americi-imaju izuzetno kompleskan aranzman i prosto je neverovatno koliko je svirka dobra....

    Omiljeni albumi su mi Altars Of Madness,Covenant i Domination...
