ARAYA calls off another SLAYER gig

 

Slayer frontman Tom Araya was forced to call off the band's show in Germany on Tuesday night after suffering vocal problems.

 

The 49-year-old has hit the road with the thrash giants after they had to postpone a series of Canadian and UK dates when he needed back surgery in January.

 

The operation implanted a metal plate in his neck, leaving him unable to headbang – which has caused comment among fans who say recent shows are less energetic than those in the past.

 

Araya's throat problems are not thought to be serious, and Slayer plan to appear at the Sweden Rock festival, along with the Sofia Rocks - Bulgaria Sonisphere event on 22 June.
