In fact, we would like to re-iterate the obvious, and that is, no matter how long the owners of those sites make false accusations & fraudulent claims, they will eventually be revealed to be only what they always have been, and will be, and that is a group and/or network of illegal bootleggers illegally profiting at the expense of the band VON, their copyrights, trademarks, rights, and privileges, that they did not have to begin with, nor will they have in any capacity under the current conditions. To be clear and precise, the two major copyright and trademark infringement cases as of today are the MySpace user VON666 and the illegal VON merchandise online store NWN Productions. VON would like to state for the record, that we do not endorse, represent, or are under any agreement or contract, have a working relationship now or in the past, or associate with these two illegal profiteers in any way shape or form. They recorded one demo called “Sister Devil” with the same line up. VON (aka GOAT): vocals and guitar KILL: bass SNAKE: drums The sonic essence and ideology behind SIXX was in parallel to what they had started with VON; emphasis on atomosphere, same recording style, Satanic imagery and lyrics. However the introduction of new musical elements and influences from the likes of Joy Division and Diamanda Galas kept SIXX from getting much attention during their short existence (sound familiar?). They played two gigs in the San Francisco area and killed the project after one demo. I’m now in discussion with GOAT and KILL to release this demo on CD and vinyl. More information to come soon.
