Cak cini mi se epskiji nego oni, jer Isole imaju i melanholicnih pesama. Ko nije cuo, "Suffer No Guilt" obavezno!

Poslednja pesma instrumental WOE OF THE KINGS je van ovog sveta...

Jesi slušao neku pesmu sa novog albuma CONQUEROR možda? Treba da izadje u maju, jedva čekam!

Doom lords The Gates of Slumber will unveil their fifth full-length album The Wretch on May 10, 2011, via Rise Above Records and Metal Blade. According to a press release, the record features “eight slabs of punishing metal” and “boils doom down to its purest form, resulting in the Indianapolis trio’s finest work to date.”

I happen to dig The Gates of Slumber, despite their proclivity for concept records; good news is, those days are seemingly over. This band rocks harder than a magic kiss. If you haven’t heard these dudes before, you need to correct this ghastly mistake right now.

The new disc was recorded during the cold British winter of 2010 at London’s Orgone Studios and produced by Jaime Gomez Arellano, who has worked with the likes of Angel Witch and Ghost. Today, Decibel is streaming a new song off of the disc called “Coven of Cain.”

“This record is frustration and disappointment put to music,” said The Gates of Slumber’s frontman and founding member Karl Simon. “No heroics this time, no swords; no sorcery. No fantasy. That stuff is OK; it’s fun…whatever, but we don’t feel it these days. This one is all about others let you down almost as much as you let yourself down. It might not make sense to you, but then you probably only have the last two records as a digital download. That, or your world is summed up by someone else’s soundbite.”
