On August 17th, 2012 we will release a new (double-)CD named “The Early Years”. This package will include, as you may have guessed, songs from Eluveitie’s early years. To be more exact, all titles from the very first EP “Vên” as well as our complete debut album “Spirit”, both of which have remained sold out for some time now.

As if that weren’t enough, we there’s more: We have decided to

completely re-record the full EP “Vên”

, again with our producer and good friend

Tommy Vetterli

at the Newsound studios (where “Helvetios” was produced, as well). And on top of that, we will (self-) release a

special edition of “The Early Years” that will feature a never before released song called “Divico”

– also newly recorded within the last few weeks.

This edition (physical as well as digital) will be available exclusively through our own online store and at our live shows!

The new track will not be included in the standard retail version.

We are extremely excited about this release, and Chrigel comments:

” ‘The Early Years’ will give both old and new fans access to the very first steps in Eluveitie’s history. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already! Speaking of that, to celebrate our 10 year anniversary (2002-2012) we wanted to offer you something special. Therefore we have decided to re-record the tracks of our first EP ’Vên’! We had a lot of fun putting those songs on tape again – some of which we have been playing live to this day and that have developed together with us over all these years.

With ‘Divico’ we have finally completed a song that has been in the works forever. We are happy to be able to present this little “classic” to you now – good things take time to ripen!”

Ponovo snimaju ceo "Ven" i ta neobjavljena pesma, to je to.

Al su se pretrgli.

Pa i nije da imaju milijardu davno snimljenih albuma sa lošom produkcijom pa im treba nešto mnogo toga.

Upravo, a kao i da ne mozemo Ven da slusamo u originalnom izdanju.

Pa to i hocu da kazem, cemu ovo izdanje?!?

Ok, rirkordovali su demo po ko zna koji put, ne zvuci lose, al opet se pitam cemu ovo izdanje.

Da bi ga neko kupio. Tako ti je to... kad neka izdavačka kuća vidi da na nekom može uzeti pare onda to nastoji da uradi na sve moguće načine.
