Album im je veoma prgav svaki put kada uzmem da ga slusham smorim se jel imam osecaj da neshto fali i da svaka pesma je nedorechena. Ali kada odslusam ceo album budem prilichno zadovoljan njime. U sustini album je jedna velika celina i potrebno je dosta paznje i slusanja da ceo album svarite, ali ako to uradite imacete jedno prijatno putovanje kroz ovaj album. Black metal delovi albuma su odlichni dok ovi ambijentalni post-rock delovi su djene-djene. U nekim trenucima stvarno zablistaju, a nekad imash osecaj da su previshe nalickani i postavljeni tu samo da bi se hvalili na kompleksnosti. Ako ste pre toga slusali neke genijalce ovog zanra , odma cete sigurno reci da oni nemaju tu kreativnu energiju koju npr. Isis ima u svojim tim clean atmosferichnim delovima. Da ne bude da samo kenjam ambijentalni delovi na The waren us fantastichni isto i onaj atmosferichni klavir na the Colossal Voids je perverzija. Clean je ocajan(barem ga nema puno i na prve 3/4 albuma se lik dlaeko popravio), ko neki peder pri izdisaju. Sve u svemu ovo je jedan od onih albuma koji imaju svoj pocetak sredinu i zakljucak , tako se na exiles Journey ocigledno vidi radjanje sunca i sa Berefit(najbolja pesma na albumu) vidi zalazak sunca i zavrsetak jednog fantasticnog putovanja kroz izolaciju, miznatropiju, samocu i tamu , ali sa odredjenom dozom nade i zelje za svetloscu. Ništa za svrš, ali nije ni loše, recimo ocena 8. Mada mi je ova druga fotka ubila želju za daljim slušanjem Shining je kao Manowar - dobra muzika, ali rođeni za trpanje.
