Hugh Laurie je većini ovde poznat kao priglupi Prince Regent u trećem serijalu Black Adder-a. U ovoj seriji on glumi Dr. Gregory House-a, sarkastičnog svetski priznatog dijagnostičara, koji raspolaže timom veoma sposobnih doktora različitih oblasti specijalizacije. Dr. Eric Foreman je neurolog, Dr. Allison Cameron je imunolog, a Dr. Robert Chase je specijalizovan za intenzivnu negu. Dodajte na to još Dr. Lisa-u Cuddy koja je takođe i šef bolnice i Dr. James Wilson-a koji, izgleda, jedini razume House-a i koji mu je, verovatno, i jedini prijatelj. Elem, da ne razglabam previše, svaka epizoda se sastoji iz dva dela koja teku uporedo. Jedan deo (i onaj glavni) se sastoji iz pronalaženja prave dijagnoze pacijenta koji je obično u kritičnom stanju, a drugi deo su priče iz klinike opšte prakse na koju je House primoran jer je zapostavljao više godina.

 

Eh, to je otprilike to. Još samo da napomenem da je ovo najgenijalnija serija u proteklih 10 godina.

 

Fenomenalna serija, meni je interesantna sa aspekta sto dok gledam mogu da razmisljam i da analiziram o cemu se radi i ideje coveka su stvarno genijalne, eh da i mogu reci da to jedina serija koju doktori gledaju.

 

Dr. House: At the end of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf," the wolf really does come. And he eats the sheep... and the boy... and his parents.

Dr. Chase: The wolf doesn't eat the parents!

Dr. House: It does when I tell it.

 

 

 

House je bezdušni skot. House je čovek od principa, uglavnom nekih pogrešnih ali ipak principa :D Nema nikakve bedside manire, uvek je grub prema svima i manijak najgore vrste. Tj. nema šanse da ga ne zavolite još u prvoj epizodi.

 

Dr. Wilson: You dosed me!

Dr. House: Yes I did but only because you didn't trust me, your best friend.

Dr. Wilson: You could have killed me!

Dr. House: Amphetamines wouldn't kill you.

Dr. Wilson: You don't know my medical history! I could have... I co... You could've given me a heart attack!

Dr. House: A heart attack wouldn't kill you. You were in a hospital.

[Dr. Wilson yawns]

Dr. House: Aha! You yawned!

Dr. Wilson: Aha! You tried to kill me!

Dr. House: I put you on uppers and you still yawned. Means it's a symptom, of being a big fat liar. Yawning is a side effect of some antidepressants, apparently the ones you're on.

Dr. Wilson: I'm not on antidepressants, I'm on speeeed!
