“Whoopsie Pooperella”: Protest the Hero’s Rody Walker’s Charming Fecal Fairy Tale

TUESDAY, MAY 7TH, 2013 AT 2:00PM BY AXL ROSENBERG

In case the song’s title doesn’t give it away: yes, Protest the Hero vocalist Rody Walker’s new solo track, “Whoopsie Pooperella,” is a re-telling of Cinderella in which the fairy tale heroine has a serious problem with crapping herself. Silly, sure, but the song is actually catchy as hell; if it was 1996, it’s not hard to imagine this as a radio hit. And as a bonus, it’s hard to imagine another time when someone will rhyme the words “eyes” with “scheisser.”

Below, enjoy Rody Walker’s “Whoopsie Pooperella.” Rarely has the categorization “New Shit” been so appropriate.
