Nije ništa posebno novo, ali i ne mora da bude, važno je da Tolkki ume da napravi nešto u fazonu najboljeg perioda Stratovarius-a. Jedan od boljih albuma ove godine. The last weeks have kept Tolkki and his band members busy putting finishing touches to the band's first real debut album entitled "AGE OF AQUARIUS". Recorded over 3 months in Finland, it is by far the darkest, heaviest and most symphonic album that Tolkki has ever been involved in. Finding a close connection with his new band members Gus Monsanto and Bruno Agra, the trio locked itself in a cabin in Finland for a month and composed 10 new songs. It is the first time during Tolkki's career that he shared the whole songwriting process with other band members. "I just felt this incredibly fresh vibe with these guys and the songs were just flowing. It was so natural process that it almost felt like the songs were already composed and we just let them be born. It was possible because in Gus and Bruno I finally have found the kindred spirits I have been looking for so long. The results were something that none of us were expecting and yet at the same time, we felt that this record is exactly the way it is supposed to be", comments Tolkki. The release date of "AGE OF AQUARIUS" is 25.3.2009 in South East Asia (JVC) and on 9.3.2009 in the rest of the world. The band also filmed a promotional video in Helsinki for the title track of the album. The tracklisting is: "The Age of Aquarius", "So She Wears Black", "Ixion's Wheel", "Kyrie Eleison", "Revolution Has Begun", "Sins of My Beloved", "Behind the Mask", "Ghost of Fallen Grace", "Children of the Future" and "The Heart of All". The tours are currently been booked to promote "AGE OF AQUARIUS" worldwide and are planned to start from South America in early April. Scarlet Records will also release Timo Tolkki's 3rd solo album, the ethereal classical Rock Opera Saana-Warrior of Light part 1 Worldwide on 23.1.2009. Капирам да Киске и Тоби дају посебну драж првом албуму, ал и сам квалитет песама је далеко изнад на дебију него на овом новом. Мада, остаје да се види да ли је ово званична верзија. Prisoner of Dreams Posted March 22, 2009 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 изгледа да ће тако бити. отприлике као да је Толки узео све што не ваља са задњих стратоваријуса, а избацио све што је иоле вредело. значи, неки тихи, успављујући почеци песама, па онда као неке оркестрације, ко деца да су их писала, и онда неки поспано спори темпо. овај вокалиста, ко штапом да га је терао да пева... да је бар убацио неку солажу вредну пажње, то је бар нешто што Толки добро ради (радио је). ProgressiveR Posted March 23, 2009 Report post Posted March 23, 2009 E početak (prvih 30 sekundi) me odmah smorilo ... to je upravo ono što mrzim kod Stratovariusa ... nađu jednu temu i ond aje vrte 60 puta uzastopno ... k'o Teletabisi Referen prve pesme je kao da je neko motkom uterao pevača u studijo ... ima života u sebi kao da su mu juče izdali 6 nedelja ... Ceo album pršti od već (mnogo puta) viđenih Stratovarius fora: ponavljanje teme, prva strofa ostane samo na bassu i bubnjevima i vokalu, sveprisutni mid-tempo, ubacivanje totalnog sporog tempa u sred pesme (najbolje tamo u 3.strofi) .... Covek jeste genije, ali ocigledno treba da zaista ne pije lekove i ima te svoje flesheve i vizije da bi pisao dobre albume. Ili je samo prolupao tokom godina. ProgressiveR Posted March 23, 2009 Report post Posted March 23, 2009 Po meni on baš ije nikakv genije ... ništa on novo ni pametno nije uradio ... ništa što 100 bendova pre njega nisu uradili ... što se tiče tehnike sviranje, samo je jedan u moru Malmsteen wannabe, i to poprilično traljav. Heh, da ste mu videli facu kad su bili na certu sa SymphonyX, 2002. ili 2003. (ne sećam se) u Budimpešti ... virio je kroz zavesu onako mastan i odvratan i sa zavišću gledao kako veseli Romeo sipa arpeggio po poublici ...
