Nove Every Time I Die vesti: After 11 years of being involved with this band, Mike "Ratboy" Novak has indeed decided to quit Every Time I Die. Yesterday morning we received text messages that he wasn't going to continue anymore. 15 years ago, when someone left their band, they would get drunk, fight their friends, and we'd learn about it from Kurt Loder at 10 minutes before the hour. Today it's in a text messages and you guys find out on a messageboard. To be honest, it was something we have seen coming for some time now, but were uncertain as to exactly when or how it was going to happen because, as everyone who has ever met him knows, his communication skills leave much to be desired. That being said, he simply didn't feel the need to talk to us about any problem he was having or discomfort he was experiencing with any situation in particular. For the past year it has felt like we were playing with a drum machine or a pre recorded backing track. He completely shut off communication with us, contributing only to the band when onstage and opting to take no part in any social activity while on tour or to be present for the filming of our upcoming DVD. Whatever his reasons were, he simply was not a part of us anymore mentally or emotionally. So now, us at Every Time I Die are confronted with a small hurdle which we will no doubt jump in order to become a new version of the killing machine we've always been. The person that fills the vacant shoes Ratboy left is going to be more hungry and more intense and bring a renewed energy to the stage, not simply be able learn the songs and repeat them for a half hour every night. Someone that doesn't take being in a band for granted and wants to destroy everyone and every thing sonically. Someone that can appreciate the amazing people we surround ourselves with and the opportunities we've been given. Nostalgija me udarila jerbo muzika zvuci mnogo na stari FF, tipa Obsolete i Archetype, ali ovaj pevac i dalje boluje od Chesteritisa, neka me zaobidje sa time. Album sam po sebi nije vredan slusanja na duze staze, jedino eto ako ste toliko cekali novi FF album, pa imate ove otpatke na ovom albumu da odslusate nekoliko puta, koji je vec zavrsio u mome recycle bin-u gde mu je i mesto...

Pesma „Buđav lebac” grupe S.A.R.S. napravila je neverovatan uspeh u proteklih godinu i po dana, a retki su oni koji nisu negde čuli ovaj hit. Prema listingu iz SOKOJ-a, koji je dobio autor ove numere, tokom cele 2008. godine pesma je navodno samo jednom emitovana na radiju za šta su dobili 16,5 dinara. Blic Nova postava: S.A.R.S. @Angelystore, Guybrush je imao bradu u LeChuck's Revenge, mozda je to programerska interna posalica. @Opera Ghost, odlicno zapazanje u vezi Evil Dead 2, meni se recimo taj fazon bas dopao, pa i prethodni delovi su aludirali na neke filmice. Posto ste vec izneli mnogo zamerki za igru, ujedno za vecinu se slazem. Ono sto bih imao da dodam je to da su modeli likova veoma osiromaseni, skoro da se ponavljaju. (Winslow, novinar, duvac stakla, pirat bez obe noge) A Le Chuck je preodvratno dizajniran, kao da su uzeli patku i orangutana i spojili sa zombi zbunom, travestija... Humor je mozda i najslabiji (mada ni 4 nije bila bas uspesna po tom pitanju) nadam se samo da ce poraditi na tome. Sinhronizacija paaa... recimo da se dosta ponavljaju glumci iz Sam and Max serijala, i to me je malo iritiralo, ali presao sam i preko toga. Animacija je mogla da bude mnogo bolja, mogli su da se potrude da urade detaljnije likove, a i okolis.... Znam da ne bi bilo bolje po njih da su izdali celu novu igru, a ne ovako u 5 epizoda, jelte zbog piraterije, ipak je TellTale games mala izdavacka kuca, ali mene fakat mrzi da cekam po mesec dana da izadje nova epizoda kada sam ovu presao za 4 i po sata igranja, pa Sam and Max-a sam svaku epizodu igrao duze od toga. Muziku bih izdvojio kao poitivnu stranu igre...

Mislim da su glupo postupili, da su hteli da iskamce malo novca bilo bi dovoljno da se Cazares samo prikljucio bendu, a ne ponovo da se pickaraju ovako preko medija i jos vise odstranjuju ono malo ljudi sto ih i dalje slusa. edit: Da li neko vidi slicnosti izmedju ova dva cover-a?

Na festivalu Quart u Norveškoj u sredu su zajedno nastupili Slash (ex-Guns N'Roses), Ozzy Osbourne, Ronnie Wood i pevačica grupe Black Eyed Peas Fergie. Slash je tokom ovog neočekivanog zajedničkog nastupa uglavnom svirao pesme svog bivšeg benda, među kojima su bile i Sweet Child O'Mine i Paradise City, piše NME. "Sećam se da sam Guns N'Roses gledala kad sam išla u srednju školu", rekla je Fergie NME-ju. "Zato za mene to što sviram s nekim poput Slasha predstavlja totalnu bujicu adrenalina."
