Ashes of Ares, the band led by former Iced Earth members Matt Barlow and Freddie Vidales, is set to honor the 30th anniversary of Iced Earth's third album, "The Dark Saga", with a European tour planned for September and October 2025. Announcing the upcoming tour on social media, Ashes of Ares shared their excitement with fans: "A dream of many fans is now coming true, as the European audience will have the opportunity to hear and witness the entire epic 'The Dark Saga' album on stage." The band added: "The monumental 1996 album that has brought so many memories and joy to metal fans will be played from start to finish, yes all 10 songs, along with songs from our forthcoming album." They also teased a reveal to come: "Be sure to check back here tomorrow, when we will announce our first date in October. Guess where this is going to be."

Returning to old form for a special release wth Finnish black metal band BONE SCEPTER, a side project of highly acclaimed, multi-instrumentalist V. Khaoz, best known as the main force behind Finnish symphonic black metal nightmare, VARGRAV.
